tank build is useless...i am sick of POE

i played alot of nemesis and inv now, trying to pull of a tank but you ALWAYS fell like a glasscanon, no matter how much life/block,res whatever...inv boss one shots you like a fkn glasscanon mage.

where is the fun in this? why do ppl claim to need such a "challenge" when this challenge is just pure randomness and LUCK in INV now? no real rewards in INV bosses for the risk you got to take and even running is deadly @some bosses.

What did Nemesis mods give you as for risk/reward? Did storm heralds and corrupted blood have increased drops? What did Onslaught global buff to all monsters give you as risk/reward? Hardcore leagues always punished players.

The only difference between now and then is the degrading quality of players playing PoE (my opinion) and the feeling of player entitlement. The softcore 4 months have always been more rewarding while the hardcore are simply more punishing. The only reason I didn't turn my back on PoE is because even though they went against this design and buffed the droprate of Invasion bosses. They kept them still very RIP capable and the gap in difficulty from Nemesis to Invasion can warrant some mercy from GGG from going a bit too far for what the community was ready for.
those bosses are not DIFFICULT in mechanics, they are just randomly onehit you...thats not skillbased...thats dumb
Tank build doesn't mean you cannot ever die.
I've found that tank builds only feel tanky once you get into the 60's-70's.
Before that point, there isn't enough difference in survivability to really notice the benefits of a 'tanky' build.

Maybe it is just me, but I find less tanky builds too survivable before that point to notice much.

Once I get into the 60s and 70's I start to really tell the difference between a build that is tanky and a build that isn't. As for tank builds being useless...I'm not sure I agree...

Have you removed Asus ROG/GameFirst yet?
less tanky = the only way to go imo. if you build "tanky" you miss alot of dmg nodes which makes it difficult to kill the rares/unique bosses but at the same time, you cant tank em because ...well..i dont know why....just annoying.
I'm now Level 72 in Mericless Invasion farming Piety and I have yet to be one shotted by any Invasion boss and I've fought and kill the vast majority of bosses. The bosses are difficult. I have all of 1.5k armor and physical bosses still don't wreck me. I have 81% all resist and -32% chaos resist. Chaos damage bosses do hurt but since they are mostly degens it's a matter of my reaction time. Elemental damage won't kill me unless I get cursed or get too many shotguns like 3 Rima FP traps in a row with no flasks. The only attack that comes remotely close to one shotting me is Ossecati's melee nuke but he is so slow if you let him hit you.... no comment.

From my last Atziri's Pride kill

Keep forgetting his name but the beserker cyclone miscreation that spawns often in lunaris. For how annoying he can be on low life wish it was a better unique

So the notion that the invasion bosses always drops crap is also a straight up lie coming form people that simply skip them all. Monsters you don't kill clearly don't give you loot.

LOL, yeah man, the damage hasn't scaled higher in general at all, it's just players aren't good anymore. You nailed it I guess, great work on this one detective clocks.

Bug Fixes:
People were using cyclone for actual melee builds, so we nerfed it and made blade vortex. Also, we went ahead and made cyclone great for CoC casters while we were at it.

There have been plenty of videos illustrating 1 shots. You aren't going to fool anyone with your line of "no 1 shots in poe".

GGG hates tank builds that can trivialize death and in essence, content.

Allowing a subset of build and items that allow for near immortality means they need to tune the game to be way more spikey than if those builds and items didnt exist.
