While my main is level 82 in SC, I did make an HC char with this build, currently at level 67 in Act 3 of Merciless. Have okay gear and doing fine. I traded some of my SC currency for HC currency when I got a little stuck and bored of grinding for gear at around level 50 or so in Cruel. Up to that point, I managed with self found gear with no issues.

Been running a variant of this build through HC. Currently level 54 about to finish up a1 Merci.

Pretty good so far. Need to keep the weapons updated for lightning strike to be decent (currently have it 4 linked with ele, phys, and lgoh). Also, getting a high armor shield with all the "buffs shield defenses" nodes we take is pretty awesome. Can't wait to get a Lioneye's once I hit 70.

The only real change I'm making to the build is I'm planning on running over to IR before traveling up the tree. Gonna grab the 15 res node, golem's blood and the associated life nodes, and possibly the armor nodes along the way. Just a HC survivability and gearing decision (having 4.0% life regen makes me happy).

Side Note: I love having 80% all res to elements from just nodes in my build. Frees up a lot of gearing options.

Loving the build tbh. I'm lvl 77 currently and it's amazing how naturally tanky this build is without much gear and the dmg is wicked as well. About 6k dps on a 5L LS with blood magic support gem.
Only thing I did change a few levels ago was get rid of blood magic because it's certainly not worth it. Without BM I am running 5 auras which benefit me a lot more than BM.
Got a few questions for u though about a few support gems
1. Why did u pick melee dmg support gem on LS? I tried out melee dmg and fire dmg and fire dmg gave me more dps. If I got it right, then fire damage should be added purely to the projectiles as well, whereas physical dmg get's cut by the projectiles.
2. Have you given Iron Grip a try? I keep wondering about how much it would boost the dmg of projectiles.

Would Supreme Truth work well with this

I reccomend this build to people a lot.

Can anyone tell me when should I stop leveling certain gems? Should I do it at all, or keep leveling as they come?

I'm using this guide in Default league and i'm now lvl 69. I can assure you this build is VERY GOOD.
I'm now mapping some 67 - 68 map and i only died 1 - 3 time in more then 25 maps.

Which gem should i buy on ~45lvl for leveling it?
