" Because you leveld your Spectral Throw higher then lvl 4. Take a fresh one, lvl it max to lvl 4, win :P Made the same misstake at the first time and wondered why it took so much mana. With this tree in patch 1.2, we still have: - 75% block - Slightly lose life, about 100 (but we can boost it from Masters and get more)and ofc take more life nodes if you lvl is high -Compared with the previous patch and the same number of points we got for free Phase Acrobatics :) -Because of the nerf COC quite rarely trigger procs spells, but tolerable at higher levels. -Minor problems with mana for auras (without node "Reduced mana reservation"), but at the expense of more mana regen you can use a lower level of Clarity or even abandon it. I can say that the patch balanced. We lost a bit of damage, but got more survival. It is my humble opinion :) I compared my old tree with a new talent tree. My MF Gear with this build: P.S Now i want test some spells with "power charge on critical" +node power charge and nice reworked Critical Weakness. |

Unless something has changed i think the author forgot about auras.
I had to get 5% reduced Mana Reserved to run purity+grace+clarity. Here is the build stats PRE patch. I saved them prior to patch. I thought it'd be interesting to compare POST patch.

5795 evasion (36% chance to evade)
30% dodge chance 62.5 mana regen Elemental res 75 Chaos res -60 Block chance 75% Spell block chance 55% 51% crit chance (61,5% with 3 power charges) The good things: 1. Mana cost is down from 22 to 16 which means it is easy to sustain even continous attacking. 2. 10% extra projectile speed = more range. 3. More options for dual wield block. The bad things: 1. Less coc trigger chance. Lvl 20 coc gem equals a lvl 10 coc gem pre patch i think. 2. No easy access to chaos resistance. -60% ftl. 3. Arctic breath is nerfed = Less dps i suppose. Life is about the same. 12 life per level up instead of 8. 200% life pre patch. 133% life should be the same post patch. " Edit: I think you are right. I completely forgot clarity is nerfed too. Bloody nerfs. Now those points i put into life and mana are wasted. And the reservation reduction passive shouldn't be needed either. Author's tree is spot on. Very optimized and good.
