I don't find 'em that strong, but yes with good ammount of cast speed, fast that you use fire pen and flammability, those do became on par with spelldmg nodes. ;) Get them if you need more dmg from the tree.

Thanks, thought the the 1.2.0 skill tree on the top of the original post was in a visible place.

@danteafk anyhow, links provided if they don't work for you now, will work when 1.2.0 tree hits, till then you can load links in offline skill tree or poebuilder site. ;)

You get it from Hillock in Cruel, you use flameblast until then... or until you feel like shifting, can play flameblast + flame totem combo until then.

Hi,

I find that leveling with double searing bond much faster then with flame blast + flame/searing bond. IMO, it also "trains" the player on the placement of the totems(since you want flame totems to shotgun for max DPS output) which is another plus.

I dunno...maybe it's just me cause I prefer to move constantly instead of just standing there and charge flameblast.

I only switch to double flame totems once I think that they deal a decent amount of damage(maybe around 250 - 300 DPS tooltip with LMP + Fire pen)

Yep, around 250-300+.

I did say it's transition like so (icenova/firetrap > Flameblast > Searing Bond > Fire Totem. After it's up to you if you prefer to use searing + flameblast, double searing or ft + flameblast. Also it's best for player to first play around with both searing / flame totem (either/or) before spec'ing into Ancestral Bond, just to get familiar with totem placement.

As for part about moving constantly... I'm a lazy guy. XD

I'm in A1 merciless right now using Flame Totem + LMP + Fire Pen with Ancestral, and while things are dying alright I noticed that I only have 330 DPS compared to the 400+ you recommended for A3 cruel. Is there something I'm doing wrong? I have a wand with +48% total spell damage or so and I'm following your build closely...

what about getting some fire nodes to make up for the searing bond nerf?

Running a combo of flameblast and flame totem right now, almost finished with 60 point build. When I feel like my totems are strong enough I'll slot ancestral bond. It's been really fun so far
