WORLD FIRST USE of Vaal orb

Personally i would never use it on a piece of gear that i value without fully knowing the potential consequences.

However i do feel a bit pissed. While it's good to have surprises, there has been limited communication on what the vaal orb can or can not do.

At lease have a short list of possible worst outcomes, e.g. can make uniques non unique, etc.

A bit disappointed at GGG on this one.

Well, I wouldn't have guessed in a million years it would destroy items this badly. Thought the worst outcome would be a crappy implicit mod that didn't match the gear.

This is a hardcore game for the most part, stupidity should not be rewarded.

why anyone would be in such a rush to roll vaals on their uber gear is beyond me.

No one could have possibly thought it would downgrade uniques to rares and unsocket 6L. That is downright a foolish introduction of RNG, GGG stated it should be the last item used, so obviously you would expect 6L. Bad communication of orb consequences.
