finding and crafting good stuff was already hard enough and took too much time anyway.

Just simple, use the Vaal Orb in a average item, never in a top one.
Sorry but use this in a Marohi 6L was foolish. I tested 3 in simple items, a gem gain 2% of projectile damage, an item changed 5% spell damage for 18% chance avoid being chocked and a poor unique became rare.

Did you ever find some gear that could be amazing but is just lacking that "special something" so you just vendored it? Thats the item you use a Vaal orb on...

Find a crappy unique that some people use but is so common that everyone just sells them for 1 chaos? Thats the item you use a Vaal orb on...

Find a gem that is in high demand but you don't need personally? Thats the item you use a Vaal orb on...


If you use a vaal orb on a GG item you're a retard, that's like using a chaos on a perfectly rolled rare.

currently playing on ambush but these are the types of items that are crappy enough not to be missed but good enough that a YOCO could make them very desirable

I'm sure you've noticed, but the community in this game is toxic. I've never seen any other games with so much animosity towards fellow players, save console FPSs. A lot of the people who play this game have some real social issues.
