[1.1.1b] [Incinerate EB-MoM-Witch ] [Beginner Friendly] [March 28th Update][+Bonus Build]

I used to have similar build to the first one posted on this topic however I do had 'Heart of Oak' passive. Recently I've changed build to the 1.2 version proposed in here although I find it less survival due to lack of Heart of Oaks chance to avoid being stunned. How are You guys playing ? Do You also play without 'Heart of Oak' ? Any problems with Incinerate being often interrupted by stun ?

Hatred scales off of your total physical damage, meaning that it adds more cold damage the more physical damage you actually have.

Meanwhile, anger and wrath both add only a flat amount of damage.

Wrath and anger are used mostly for elemental builds while hatred is used for physical builds

Just RIP'd at 57, to some crazy exile that shoots rain of arrows.

I had issues with this build because whenever i would get hit, it would take dmg straight from mana, then arctic armor would come off. I expect this is likely due to mana regen issues.

I had Discipline, AA and clarity running including mana leech, and was able to incinerate fine, so i had enough mana regen for all of that. However when i got hit or crit bad, AA would turn off and it would make things worse, which is likely why i RIP'd.

Any suggestions?
Interesting bonus build, would it be possible to link the gear your friend used to kill atziri? Im currently lvl 86, running MF - 311 IR, and can easily kill 76 maps and lower. 77 and 78 are usually pretty easy as well but it depends on the types of mobs and some bosses and can't even come close on. I realize that with my IR gear I'm losing a bit of armor/evasion and health on rings but even with normal gear on, I feel SO squishy. My incinerate tooltip says 3148, 4106 if I don't have my item rarity gem in, so stuff dies very quick. Here is my gear:

So with the new bonus build, what is keeping your friend alive when he does Atziri? Also, where is the 105k dps coming from? Looking at the build, there doesn't seem to be THAT many +damage nodes.

So I am about to craft a 6L Carnal Armour for the Incinerate build and I have a dilemma (tri-lemma to be exact).

There are 4 desirable affixes for this build:

+Evasion
+Energy Shield
+% Evasion/ Energy Shield
+max Life

Out of those, which do you think are the best/most essential. When I had the idea I was thinking going without the +Life, since if you craft an Armor like this with Evasion+Energy Shield +%, it will have some insane amounts like 1.6-1.7k Ev, 500-650 ES (maybe more not sure) - in the cost of 300-400 hp. But lately I was thinking if that is the best choice (or maybe ev+life?).
One of the stats has to be +% Eva/ES for sure, but what do you think about the rest? Ev/HP, EV/ES or ES/HP??

Resistances always are important too. Invasion league especially proved the rising improtance of chaos resist. I would suggest these priorities.

Life > EV/ES > Reistances > EV > ES

Initially try to roll Life + Solid base stats. This build doesnt have much life and its the number one stat to compesate first. ES is actually not so insanely important.

BUUUUUT

If you really are up to spending your currency just try to roll a perfect "Cloak of Defiance" and 6L it. Its really quite good. Also crafting a perfect wand for this would also be nice. It just hasent been done yet. At least In EU-standard there isnt one. Also a pefect shield would be an idea.

His gear is only slightly better than mine. He used legacy Maligaros and a much better chest in terms of EV. His life was about the same if not less than mine. Athziri fight is quite easy if you utilize whirling blade and spectral throw. This combination is at the moment THE "go to" way of taking her down. Life Leech of course works insanely-well with Vaal Pact + High Crits.

I have ripped to "Rain of Arrows" stuff too. It does just plain stupid damage on some exiles/bosses. After all it again comes down to having good defensive stats against physical combined with high mana regen. For this build it gets critical as soon as you receive highly-frequent high damage attacks (as for any other build). What works out fairly well in invasion league is to use a diffrent mobilty skill combo like show on this dagger (just do it on your wand).

This is very nice to get out of deadly situations. Whirling blade counter thes "nailing down" effect of RoA for example and allows for quick repositining. The warp is there to get you over obstacles for comfort reasons :D

I was wondering because you use Added chaos damage on Incinerate would Method to the Madness be good with it? What are your thoughts on this?

For one not going into armor but hoping evasion might be enough, and getting a little bit more for mana regen and ele resists.

Would be interested to hear your feedback on where you think this build will fall down compared to the original.

Also bonus build wise, the mana regen would tempt me to try and resurrect the explosive arrow/quill rain build i tried to work once but just could not keep up manawise...
