still struggling how to link LA and ice shot

my major concern is LA

with a 4L now i am thinking
LMP, Chain, Fork, elemental damage, life on hit

with LMP + chain/fork there will be so less damage as they decrease damage by %

should i go LMP ele, loh?

Exactly. At the early point in the game Chain will mostly just hurt you, and I lately noticed Split Arrow works considerably better without Chain/Fork (early game).

LA LMP WeleD LoH is indeed the ideal 4L combination.
Add Faster Attacks or Chain next, then finish with whichever you delayed, once you achieve 6L.
Life is tough... but it is tougher if you're stupid.
Just curious, would elemental proliferation on LA work well with this build?

Yes but it is less important than the other support gems available. If you want to add EProliferation, you lose Faster Attacks. I value the extra attack speed more.

For AoE you can pick between: Lightning Arrow, Split Shot, Ice Shot (even Frenzy or Elemental Hit)

For single target you can pick between: Frenzy, Elemental Hit, Ice Shot


So whatever you like; pursue it. One guy a few posts back said he doesn't like Split Arrow because of the aiming mechanism, so he's not using it.

If you want to min/max with definite favourites than yes, LA and EH win.

Could someone please explain to me why Elemental damage is stronger than going Physical damage? I was under the impression that when a skill says "50% damage to fire", boosted elemental damage only applies to the 50%, but boosted physical damage still applies to the full 100%.

because a single peice of gear can have +fire, +cold, AND +lightning.
you get 3x more dmg modifiers
I see... so the combination of all those mods could feasibly surpass the physical damage you're getting from your bow? Is that the only point where elemental damage multipliers becomes better than physical multipliers?

I haven't played too long, but it sounds difficult to get that many elemental damage mods.
Does this build work with a templar too?

My marauder is meele lvl 55 dont wana play the same class twice. And the templar seems to start right next to all that sweet + damage nodes and can reach all the important nods at least as fast as a marauder.

u can ignore the different starting str + int between the 2 classes.

but u waste a point in +40% mana regen.
