Thanks, man. It was fun running into ya and doing a few maps. The Crazy thing to me is as good as it is already, it's about to get better. My Poison arrows are closing in (all 20Q, 18-19), and popping a 21 will add over 1500 DPS. And my Drillneck will be here Sunday - more of a DPS increase. With 41% run speed, and single shots clearing packs as quickly as they do/will - clear speed on this are going to literally be insane. Been saving a few maps for new videos.

Also of note, I have switched from Desecrate to Fire Traps. Desecrate DPS was just so low and I never have a shortage of dead bodies to zombify. But, really, the build has 2 minor speed bumps: Totems, and Chaos resistant blues and rares. Desecrate as a secondary skill didn't help with that. Fire Trap does - and with the proliferated burning it still is assisted by at least some of my Tree nodes.

I've been running this build and having a blast even with only a +2 4L bow and having the wrong bandits. I'm trying the fire traps and am also trying out vaal skellies instead of totem'd and using a DD totem. I'm not sure if I'll keep the DD totem but using the vaal skeletons clears up a few skill slots for something interesting.
Also if you had a quality ele prolif and an added lightning on fire trap might be something to try as well for shock stacks...

Yeah definitely - tinkering on the outskirts of this build can be a lot of fun - so many options.

FYI - Now running my Drillneck. Swapping Pierce for Slower Projectiles added 1400 DPS. Also found helm and ring upgrades pretty inexpensively with peeps moving from Ambush - shot my mana regen up 50 points. Main post updated.

Also of note, while I tend to lean more defensively, I have opened up a ring slot from needing any resists. Which means that if I wanted to, or to anyone who cares less about defense than me, instead of adding life, mana, and mana regen - situationally I can up DPS by rocking

Le Heup is currently the only way in game to add Poison Cloud DPS via the ring slot.

I don't think you have Poison arrow Ranger so I am assuming you mean on a physical one. I was curious myself so I tested on mine yesterday - I lost a few DPS on my Pierce/Split arrow with it. But that's with 84% to Pierce - with 100% it would have went up a tad, but not worth the loss of HP and a 40+ resist. However, I have a pretty good rare Quiver:



For most it would be an increase, but not as big as people are probably hoping.

I bought my Drillneck pretty early on in Ambush for 3ex. I knew I was going to basically quit Ambush so I cashed in the stuff on my failed CI toon and bought it for the sole purpose of bringing it back for this Poison Arrow Ranger.

But I see people selling them for like 11ex now, what the heck? They aren't even legacy since they announced they will drop permanently. Half tempted to sell mine and then just buy another later once people realize they aren't worth that much.
