" Just went over this, and you can get all the "basic" gems you need by leveling a witch to just to the general in act3/normal (that's around level 30), then a ranger to 10, and then start the scion, who gets the rest of the gems needed (as far as they are quest rewards). Fite (always makes me think of my feral druid in WoW from ages ago), now that we have the new tree, what's your take on it? http://www.poebuilder.com/
The mana regeneration node at the Scion start was cut in half, and the life wheel nerf hits like a truck. I'm not seeing any life clusters that are in reach to make up for the loss. 32% life gone, with two freed up points. How would you build now? | |

" That's a good idea, actually. That's about 25 base life less, but 6% more total life, and less mana, but better mana regeneration. You could save one point by skipping the flask nodes and leave the area through the 8% ES and 10% ES CD (wasteful) nodes, and then use the point toward getting one node closer to Fire Walker. Still, it's 12% less radius. I have no idea how significant that is, though. | |
