To get a normal LG is easy this days (~4ex) and does also very well =) I´m in aboslutly no position to compare those build in which is more HC viable, cause i play my build in standard an I haven´t tried yours...soooo I/we just can guess. Armor works better on small hits than big hits....with chain we do many small hits instead of some big hits. the Small hits through chain are getting better mitigated than the big hits! The "X% Physical damage reduced" works more correct on small hits.... How do you guys think Barrage would fare as a main attack instead of Split Arrow (keeping the rest of the links the same)? With Chain it should have a similar AOE potential, plus it would be more efficient in close spaces and on single targets against whom you could get multiple EK procs per use, versus just one with Split Arrow. While that might be so, I don't think that's the point in this build. " EK works best with Split Arrow and Chain. This seems to be to be at best contextually true. In a wide area at certain ranges against large enough packs you'll benefit from all of the arrows hitting at a higher rate of fire, but Chain Barrage works the same at all ranges and in all areas and against packs of any size, and is far better against single targets. Ok so I am a newb... I played the game back in beta a year ago and had to leave the country for a year (no real internet where I was).
