yes this will work with remote mine instead of trap. But I think you got more damage by using trap, because you benefit from the 40% trap damage increase from the sunblast belt.

I posted in the op:
"I also added a Remote Mine gem to my Poison Arrow setup instead of Slower Projectiles. This improves your damage to the absolute high end number, but the mechanic of a remote mine + trap is in my opinion not playable and enjoyable."

Just try it, and if you can manage to play this way, your will do alot more damage

It'd be great if you could post a recommended leveling progression/path with the end goal of running this build with as few respec points burned as possible.

I've wanted to do a trapper for a while and like the look of this build, and I think I'll roll this after the league reset, so a (cheap) leveling guide would be awesome to help plan things out.

another one for you... how does point blank gem (or passive) work with trapped poison arrow?

is range calculated from trap activation or the actual character?

Hey wooli, thanks for your request. I did some testings and recorded videos from killing hillok in 3 situations:

1. with Point Blank and facetanking him. Killtime: 3,06 secs
2. with Point Blank and maxrange from player to him. Killtime: 3,02 secs
3. without Point Blank and facetanking him. Killtime: 3,08 secs


The smalldifferences are because my timemeasurement options are limitied.
So there is no significant change with or without Point Blank. The conclusion is:
Point Blank does not work with the Poison Arrow Trap combination!!

what does it mean "kill oak" in "the bandits" section? I know bandits refer to deal with bandits quest, but what does kill oak mean? Should i side with the other two and kill oak? or simply just kill oak? Sorry I am very very new...
