I'm still not sure whether I want to go split arrow or lightning arrow. I have heard that an LA dps of 13-14k is equivalent to a split arrow dps of 27-28k.

"^ To have your DPS, you multiply your LA dps by 36 (when 4 mobs are around). With split arrow, you multiply your DPS by 18. 13k LA DPS is 468k DPS. 27k Split arrow DPS is 486k DPS. I guess more often than not though, there won't be 4 mobs around. Would it be more realistic to say an average of 2 mobs around - so in this case Split arrow would out-dps Lightning arrow.

" In most cases there is a full group of mobs there. Only cases where you dont have 4+ mobs are boss situations. And in this case, you use frenzy, be it as split arrow or as LA user.
