[1.2] Oldschool, cheap and noobfriendly "Sword&Board" Marauder

I don't even know what Vaal Reave does. ;-)

Systemdown pretty much said all there is to say about Vaal gems. Very situational stuff, and most of it not really worth a support gem chain or even a single gem slot.

Even tho i went for a tankier skilltree i feel like i have waaaaaaaaaay much less damage than you on numbers, where do you think i screwd up?

You took almost no damage nodes and are wondering how you are doing less damage?

Your tree is like nowhere near mine when it comes to DpS. The nodes I took double this up easily.

Thats the point, i wouldnt mind if i had half your damage like you stated, but i have less than 2k overall dps while you have 22k, lol.

Also how the hell you have so much attack speed?


edit: nvm i feel stupid now, i forgot to select the reave in the offence panel

Awesome build, lv 77 so far, and face-tanking everything!(even when i still have to upgrade some of the gear)

Yeah, your gear could definetly use some upgrades.
Like more life rolls to facetank even more content.

You can btw rightclick the gems you don't want to level (on the right) so they don't show up anymore.

Wondering if anyone has tried this build with an abyssus without a lightning coil. How tanky can it be using the helm without the mitigation from chest.

I have a Lvl88 Marauder with 1h Mace, Aegis Aurora and Abyssus.

AA makes you so tanky that the extra damage from Abyssus is not noticeable.
Lightning Coil would probably deliver the same results.

It's totally worth it for DpS, Abyssus is just crazy.

Just "normal" 75% Block and high spellblock alone should be ok, too.

Abyssus working nice, put put on lightning coil cause I already had one 5 linked. 12k dps at lvl 61 :s

Vaal reave is awesome btw because it stacks 16 times and you can keep it stacked when using regular reave.
Clears an entire screen super fast. You should try it out. Just keep it unlinked and hit it when your surrounded or a lot of mobs on screen.
