And why is a sword > than a mace or axe with LS? That's my question.

Or are you saying that if your using a sword and thus can't use ground slam etc than LS is the best option?

Im using this build, currently level 50 and getting raped at act 3 cruel difficulty. any tips?

act 3 is hard without and even with capped res and granites. not really sure what i can tell you :\

also i updated the build, ill fix the build guide after i get up.

if you change your spec to this (Same amount of points)



you loose 10 Str, 10 Int, 2% Armor but gain 10% HP and you are right next to another HP node for later

Paul, could you please make a more detailed guide about your build.

Most of us are really interested in your build, yet its kinda lacking information. (Atleast for me, since im pretty new.)

Would be nice to see what gems/links/gear etc. you are using.
What bandits you took, or if you killed all.
Maybe some general tips.

Would be highly appreciated.

the bandit question was answered at least 2 times here.
if you wanna "learn" .. you first have to "learn to read" ...

for slam, if one of your greens were a red , would you put in elemental weaon damage? would give you a much bigger increase in damage than the cold damage gem. With such a small amount of cold damage, I assume you added it for the chill effect? But since theyre being slammed by stun, does it really matter?

Also, why no extra endurance charges? With your current build are you hitting the cap of 90% reduction as is?

also as an above poster mentioned, I believe your build which Im using now at lvl 48 would benefit from flame lash.

This may not be the best place for this but im going to ask anyways.

Why does everyone suggest taking 40hp from the bandit quest for the first reward? As far as I can tell the math shows that an 8% node picked up by an extra skill point will quickly overtake the 40hp.

Lets assume a full build like the one on the first page that gives 265% increased maximum life. 40hp ends up at 106hp. At 1350hp an 8% node is giving 108. My level 38 mara has more than 1350hp already.

Not sure why you wouldnt take the skill point?
