Hi all
I Just create a Cold Snap toon I play low life and i am lvlv 62. Till now i am ok. My dps is 4k I have all the passive notes up to Witch tree those who gives 2x 15% increase freeze duration and the other "Enemies become chilled as they unfreeze".I use the gloves who apply temp.chain on hit. I also notice that, the monsters all the time i fight them they arent in normal mode, Always they are freeze and chilled. I enjoy that effect and i like it very much. |

I have a simple suggestion - Use Cold Snap trap to bypass few cases when Cold Snap crits.
Then it can be built around Witch area with traditional ES approaches... Two-handed - Mop
Dual Wield - Slippers One-handed & Shield (close combat) - Brush & Basin One-handed & Shield (ranged) - Hair Dryer & Mirror Main-hand & Off-hand (evil witch) - Sponge & Soap |

I've edited this build for hardcore purposes.
skill tree You will use: cold snap, cold pen, iron will, faster casting, concentrated effect, life leech. You will also get voll's devotion amulet for perma 7 endurance charges. I have added IR and block chance, remove block chance if you are not using a shield. With the high regen you can use blood rage, there's 2 more 0.4% nodes to pick up. Beyond league. This is my current setup, works amazingly well, even if my DPS is a bit lower than yours:

I dont get it, how can he Cast the Cold Snap so pretty fast even without Cool Down ?

I am happy because i see the build creator , he has 3,7k dps but 0,4 cast time
I have 4,2k dps but 0,75 cast time (i am lvl 66) So if i reduce cast time i will go up to 15k dps |
