If you are asking about EE in general, I have not found the need to get it in any of my trap builds. What do you think about using a saffells frame? You would gain a lot of elemental mitigation but lose block chance. But since you are running MoM and AA physical hits shouldnt be a problem right?

" Saffel's Frame is great for weapon swap for hard bosses with huge elemental burst potential such as Megaera, Courtyard Bosses and Dominus. I would not recommend using it as a full time shield as you can get a lot of dps and survivability from an es shield with spell dmg/crit, or a ton of survivability with an archon kite shield with extra resits. " Rathpith works great as a starter dps shield until you can find a rare es shield with double spell dmg + crit rolls. Sorry about the gear disppearance, its back up again. Once upon a time this game was my life.
