thanks for the clarification to everyone who responded about the projectile questions...wish ggg woulda done us all a favor and just added that one simple word to the skill gem :D but...if wishes were fishes right?
I noticed Ziggy in your bandit choices....you said for cruel to either help oak for health or kraityn for attack speed...I'm assuming you meant help 18% phys dmg and not health yea? i havent dont any math myself but i think that one would depend on your build wouldnt it? hey ziggy im lvl 71 and following your ranger guide.
im happy with the build but it feels like there is to less dps. i wonder how much dps u have on rain of arrows. im using following items

" I think ziggy said he had 5K. This is not really a DPS build - it's a tanky HC build. It doesnt even use crit which is huge DPS loss. If you have Loin bow then you could probably drop RT and nodes to get there and add some crit for much dps. Git R Dun!

After trying out this build, my conclusion is that the dps is really meh
It's very hard to get a 300 dps bow while it's very easy to get a 300+ dps 2hand wep and because of RT the build took away one of main strengths of bow builds which is the ability to crit and cause elemental effects. Personally I think a cookie cutter spectral throw build may do more damage and be just as much or even more tanky. I'll have to try out a crit RoA build when the new league starts to be able to fully compare |

" I'm more or less there too. Up to level 70 with this build, and while the survivability is very good, the DPS is hurting. This is the bow I'm using: Which is pretty decent (especially for a Cruel Docks find!) Anyway, I've hit the wall at level 70... at least with regards to the DPS. Any ideas? I hope ZiggyD has time to update the passive tree for the new changes coming soon. I read that the Duelist and Marauder areas are changing. Judging form his posts/tweets, I am sure he is pretty busy. My trial and error passive attempts tend to have more error... =((
