Why do so many monsters Resist Cold?

i think the reason is simple.. its cold in wraeclast! so thats why..

Not the smartest way to make a game challenging imho.

Monsters with no resist affix have 0% resist. Monsters with "resists elemental" have 50% resist. Monsters with "resist cold" have 75% resist. The rare "resist elemental" affix is an additional 40%, and the rare "resist elemental aura" is I think 35% on top of that.

I said "monsters casters really care about" have 75% resists. This is because if you're dealing elemental damage, those 0% monsters really don't put up much of a fight. Even 50% resist is pretty easy to deal with. The only time they really put up a roadblock is when their resists are around 60-75%.

IB Marauder, which deals a good portion of it's damage as fire, hasn't many issues with resistances either.
