Sorry, think it was maybe the other shadow.
Can you clarify why EK over freezing pulse though? EK is physical damage right? Does that scale with ele damage?

I'm getting into the range of picking up EK, and it just so happens I have a 5L. Do you think pierce would be a good choice for the 5L? I'm going to test it, but wanted to see if you had any ideas for a better gem to fill in that last spot.

EK automatically pierces, a pierce gem will do nothing.

my 5th link would be an iron will.

Why not spend the extra 2 points and take the 16% chaos resist node route to eldritch battery and doom cast?

Since EK is projectile attack, wouldn't it make sense to pick up Iron Grip since it's just 2 points away from your build?

Iron grip does not work with EK. Iron grip only works with projectile attacks and EK is a projectile spell.

Woot? You sure about that? If it did, wouldn't it mess up Fork? Also I'm pretty sure I can't hit targets that are behind other targets.

AS far as 5L goes, I'd also say Iron Will. It's a quite nasty dps increase once the cast speed penalty decreases. LL for super safety might also be an option. Making phys. reflect a little easier, too.

Hello, i'm atm Lvl 43 in HC with you build, working very well :) i just start to use EK and it's better than freezing pulse.

But i have a problem, i'm short in DEX stat... i need to find dex in item or whatever ?
