Hello , should i use this rong or i can find a better one , i can sell it for 45 ex .its pretty good overall what you think ?
|
|
If you can get 45 ex I would sell it.
It has good phys damage and accuracy, but I think the leech is not necessary for us because we cap out with insane damage. I think best Ring stats for this build is, in this order Flat physical damage High flat accuracy High flat max mana Elemental damage with weapons Iir and iiq Elemental resists Strength Life That ring is not quite in line with what I like. But if you want to use it it is good. I would sell. ~~~Build - Flay's Flicker Finder - http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/733257~~~ ~~~Shop - Flay's Fantastic Flea Market - http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/631082~~~ Last edited by Sblak#3093 on Feb 4, 2014, 4:25:25 PM

As far as leveling, I think controlling what maps one does makes a huge difference. By that I mean not only the obvious vulnerability or -max, but many other factors (see below). After leveling as Sblak mentioned before I'd do the hardest ones. In that process one can save up a pool of easy ones, then run them sequentially to (hopefully) level.
In general, the not-so-obvious factors I've noticed are: Outdoor is almost always safer than indoor. The best is linear open spaces, like Strand and Gorge. Wide open maps like Jungle Valley are ok, but there's an unpleasant tendency to flicker between different mobs. The worst is many small rooms like Cells. Some "outdoor" maps can be dangerous because of this, like Labyrinth. Undying Evangelists are the worst mob to roll IMO, as they do lots of damage and block attacks when their shields stack. Alchemists' projectiles are fine, but their poison cloud is quite dangerous. Beware on maps with enclosed areas/corridors. Some maps of course have dangerous monsters as a signature monster (always spawn unless there is a monster affix). i.e. evangelists in Residence, alchemists in Waste Pool "of skeletons" makes for super easy maps (and is probably good for exp too). "goatmen" is pretty good for our build since we're jumping to them anyways. "undead" is not bad (just watch out for bone rhoas). Because these affixes override the signature and random monsters both, they can make some maps MUCH easier. "enfeeble" is surprisingly dangerous since we depend on killing stuff quickly. Temp chains is the same to some degree, but a bit less danger and more annoyance. Beware certain combinations of signature monsters (or monster affixes) and map affixes. For example, demons and multiproj can be dangerous because of the voidbearers. No doubt there are other factors too, but those are the ones that come to mind. IGN: Victario

Hi
Video of my flicker: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xLPSbWZds18 This time I tried Death Rush ring, and it god damn evil :) About maps: Types of maps that I'm avoiding: Villa and Ghetto Beacause of traps. If I'm trapped I'm dead. Didn't found way to relase from trap. Rock is overpowered. Paper is fine. -Scissors IGN: Chucks_Left_Foot Sklej_Pupe Last edited by licho666#4573 on Feb 5, 2014, 3:57:25 AM

Just thought I'd post an update. I'm lvl 86 now and am running 78 maps now in full 300/70 mf gear. Build is going good now love the rares and clear speed. It's very frustrating though because you WILL die once in a while. Now that I'm getting to the 85-90 range it's quite annoying to die even if it's only once in a while. btw I mostly die when I desync and am not hiting mobs for a few seconds or b i still get frreze locked even with flasks sometimes... even a 1s freeze can kill me if im in a 77-78 map. What usually happens is I get frozen pop flask hp's at like 1/2 i flicker boom full BUT SOMETIMES I get refrozen and by time I pop flask im dead.

Man, I thought I lucked out. A rare mob dropped Hrimsorrow and an Occultist's Vestment, but it was just another Infernal Mantle. So disappointing.

I completely agree with you celeritas. In that sense knowing our weakness is how we are able to level. Certain mobs have our number. I hate enfeeble but can run it because I am way over the needed dps. If you or anyne may be lower, be careful not to drop below the one shot threshold.
I wear these while leveling. They help with a bit more ES and defenses. But basically the safest way to level is duo. I have a tanky duelist friend who jumps into dangerous packs and then I flicker it the rest of the way dead. It is also possible to join groups and drop flicker, running a 6l is and 2 cwdt in your gloves and boots. For ls I use: LS - melee phys - multistrike - LMP - crit damage - pcoc. I can get about 180k dps and range kill stuff from the back safely while freezing everything with hatred. The group acts as my shield. Just watch out for reflect and chaos over time maps. ~~~Build - Flay's Flicker Finder - http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/733257~~~

@lemmiwinks
Glad you are running high maps in full mf. Hope you are getting rich. I know I have more currency than I know what to do with. I do carefully roll every map while leveling. Heck, I have enough to be picky. Then after I level I do the crazy hard maps and make my videos :). Do as Celeritas said and collect a set of easy leveling maps and then run them all carefully rolled. Or get a partner who is tanky to help you with the hard risky mob types. Good luck. ~~~Build - Flay's Flicker Finder - http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/733257~~~
