Flay' Flicker Finder - 800,054 DPS, 50/390MF, fast clear speeds. [New pics in MF gear/FAQs]

I'm leveling using this build right now, and it's working great so far. What I'm wondering though is how do you handle bursty caster bosses, such as Temple Piety or Shock and Horror? Don't you just get 1-shot by them as soon as you start running towards them?

Also, how do you handle blood rage damage when running long stretches without any mobs, as you seem to have -60 chaos res? It hurts me so badly right now with vaal pact. Using an amethyst flask to counteract it slightly, but it's still rather nasty.

Blood rage damage seems like a lot while leveling because you have higher life and it's a percentage of your life. After you go CI it is no damage at all.

When you get a shavs and go low life, it's not a big deal because then it is a percentage of your life, and not your es. 3.8% of my life is only 1% of my ES, since my ES is much. So the blood rage is not a high damage by percentage once you get enough ES.

Ah right, I totally didn't think about that. Already have a shav's from a previous character, so that'll work very well then. :) Only a 5L currently, but I guess I can skip the IIR gem for the time being.

this is my build right now and im curently haveing trouble surviving i get 1 hit if something happens to the freanzy charges i have 0% chance of recovering. i honestly dont think even at 4k es this build could be viable in anyway. yes you have a shiit ton of dmg but the survivability is stupid and oh ye i got the exat passive nodes. i get 10k dps with flicker if i change it up with the exact same gems as you all 20/20 with full charges

whats your evasion percentage?

ye the problem I see in Sblaks equip is, that he has no frenzy to "start" some charges.

How will you be able to flicker singletarget bosses f.e. piety? 1 flicker then waiting?

Please post your rings and amulet. It looks like with that belt your resists are a little low. They must be capped.

On piety I just flicker ls flicker LS. That is in the residence. In lunaris I just rush in and kill a portal.

All the hard bosses have a pack next to them. Use the pack for charges.

I see you using frenzy instead of Lightning Strike. LS lets us get charges before we get close, which is the whole point. If we could frenzy something we might as well just flicker. Charges are never a problem because all the hard bosses spawn extra mobs to give us charges. I only have small problems in 6 man groups with charges where the others steal all the kill. But even then I can get some with LS and then flicker.

Would you recommend Bino's Kitchen knife for this build? I didn't think about it until the player above linked it.

I'm not the OP, but I wouldn't use it. It costs about 40ex on Domination afaik, and for that you can get a brilliant phys dps dagger with higher attack speed and the same crit and pDPS values. That'd mean more attacks, which would be less chance for the enemy to hit you successfully, and more importantly, it'd mean more uses out of your wrath and anger auras. They alone give a huge DPS boost.

I would use Bino's until I got a better one :) But for this build it's a little slow to benefit from the auras. Still it's a great dagger and better skean or ambusher is usually about 20 ex.

We do chaos damage from the adder's touch and Bino's is awesome in groups to give others regen. I can't dis Bino's is really good. But I like as fast as possible so the bonus elemental goes up more. And I crit more often so have more flasks to use.
