Known Issues & Common Technical Problems

When the installation error occurs and the solution didn't solve the problem (local drive stuff), add WIXUI_DONTVALIDATEPATH="1" behind the line mentioned in the first post. This should solve the problem.


Command becomes msiexec /i "C:\path to\PathOfExileInstaller.msi" WIXUI_DONTVALIDATEPATH="1" with the middle part replaced by whatever path you put the installer.

I have download Long Path Tool and it is the best solution of your problem.

just wanted to report that i've been having fps "spikes" from "150-200" to "1" whenever a flicker monster from act 3 casts Discharge on me, changing setting from max to low doesn't seems to make any difference

cpu : amd fx-8350
video card : hd radeon 7850
memory :8gb
windows 7 x64

I have huge problems when i hit act 3. Random crashes (from no warnings to many exceptions) all the time. I don't really know whats the problem but it only happens in act3.

If it seems to be specific to act three it is likely an out of memory issue as the areas in act three are higher detail and much larger than acts 1 and 2.

there is a possible fix to this about half way down the OP giving the -gc 2 command line

Or you can try lowering the texture quality to medium or lower

yea i did that, it kinda helped but not completely

also i am disconnecting all the time today. I don't really know whats wrong (lost 53~ char on hc T_T) oh well i shouldn't be pushing was my fault i guess...

Hi !

when i try to launch the game, i saw the "allocation space" and the window disappear, but the client still running on my processus list.
i tryed to delete the Content.ggpk and dl, my problem isn't fixed.
PackCheck doesn't find anything...
