1.3 [Newbie Friendly] GROUNDSLAMMER BUILD

Has anybody tried a Daresso's Defiance and Kongor's Undying Rage with this setup? Sounds like you could get some extra damage in there if you could give up endurance charges.

Around 7k AR with molten shell up 4.6k HP and 14k DPS on GS, 450 dps weapon, lvl 85.

Dont think i can do much w/o a 6l getting a. speed from glove/rings only boost the dps by 2k pretty sure i can improve it somehow changing it the belt also.

Any more high lvl GS around?

Hi, i'm trying your guide, and i like it a lot, so i've been thinking, wouldn't be better to remove thoose two points in sword damage and life ( +12% dmg for sword weapons and +6% increased maximum life ) and use them to get sentinel ( +24% evasion and armor and +10% elemental resistance )?

I would, its a basic guide to help, you can make some personal changes etc.

I don't like multistrike with this build. It may be good when you already do IMBA damage. But if damage is range from average to just good, I think other support gems are much better choice. Faster attacks, melee physical, added fire, life leech, conc effect, even endurance on melee stun before multi if you ask me. Get that BIG HITS. Ofcourse with good attack speed, that is very important, but not to the style of MS. Just feel like hits become too weak with multistrike. I am talking from level 60 guy with mostly noob gear (1chaos pieces gear). I wonder about that tooltip damage.

Anyway as I said before this guide is very good, that is no question.

Hi I´ve been following this build to lvl 78 now. mid-game and late game has been a breeze, early maps too, but since hitting lvl 72-73 maps it is getting more ad more difficult and i often die/close to dying. I just recently switched to BM Gem/ Hatred. I cant uphold a second aura atm and i cannot imagine how a marauder could have above 600 mana.

heres my spec and gear, you have any suggestions what to do next/what gear to work on?

Compared to my summoner witch lvl 83, which was way cheaper to gear (crappy gear actually) I have a hard time clearing maps. It seems this game favours some playstyles (esp. ranged/magic/totems) over melee.

Even more it seems, GS is a great starter build because it has an easy "flow" but once you hit brick wall, it´s increadibly difficult/expensive to progress... :(


I have 4600 life 4 k Armor, max resist (78-79%)
Dmg with GS is 9600, DS is 14k

ok put in Conc effect and a high lvl hatred and upped my dmg to 13500, things go alot smoother now. If only i had more life and armor. Prbly gonna spec out of dmg nodes and into armor&life. Man a 6L MArohi really must hurt...

Lvl 88 now and going strong. Been clearing lv.75 gold maps with no problems whatsoever. Yet to try higher maps:

10k DPS on GS, 13k DPS on HS,79% on all resists, -3% chaos resist, 6200HP, 7372 Armour. My DPS is kinda low but idc really since I care more about survaivability. If I can sustain long enough the damage shall come right:)
Ripped only 23 times so far. Most of which due to stupidity and a few times cus of desync :D
