1.3 [Newbie Friendly] GROUNDSLAMMER BUILD

First of all I really like your build and guide and followed it as best as possible but at Merciless the shit got real.

I'm currently Lvl 56 and Act 1 Merciless and I'm getting raped as soon as I stop running / kiting around and wait for a good moment to slam these guys (I'm basically dead at every 0.001 second delay)

I dont know how to link every single item but these are some of my stats:

Resistance: Fire 28%, Ice 26%, Lightning 26%, Chaos -12% (Yeah..^^)
Life per sec. 77.7
Ground Slam does 1033.4 DPS (without any aura and shit) and does 12% life leech
381 STR 85 INT 116 DEX

Is it normal to get raped by Physical Dmg (even with 6 stacks endurance) or is there any difference in gameplay at merciless? If im doing exactly same as in Cruel (Stack endurance, Decoy totem and slam dem fuckers) im just dead at any 0.1 sec. delayed reaction or drink health poitions as hell.

Take an efford and find out how to link items. Every stat you show is poor. (one expection: chaos resistance)

But why dont you take berserking? The same reason as for the damage nodes?

Oddly, tho I see this in a surprising number of builds, you miss the 12% Melee Physical Damage that is at the very start of the marauder tree.

It seems the first two nodes available for every starting position are among the most powerful non-keystone non-notable nodes on the tree, sometimes tying with notables even. It seems they should almost always be taken.


Only exceptions might be some very specific builds (BM Templar skipping mana regen, strictly melee shadow skipping inc spell damage, dual totem witch skipping inc spell damage maybe), tho even then it might be better to take the node and respec it later.


But otherwise, great guide! Some good ideas to pass on to my marauder-playing friend.
Relax, I just missclicked those two nodes: 12% increased damage and berserking. They are indeed very powerfull. Thank you for your feedback.

Why are you delete 2 nods which give 0.4% and 0.4% health regen? (down part of the tree)
