" i always say.. relying on EC is only works for mid-game. also spending precious SPs on ec charges etc. is not good idea. Squirrel is love, Squirrel is life.

Hey all, I'm lvl 48 in Act II Cruel and looking for some advice on what nodes to go for next and maybe some tips on what I should be looking for gear-wise.
My Build so far: http://www.pathofexile.com/passive-skill-tree/AAAAAgEBBS0OPBLhFCAUcRkuHOcg8CfVJ-0otTIJOlJE51BHUFBUSVYEVw1YY18_YEtgiGEhYVJqHmo7cql07XrvfNmE74ZgjM-Rzp7Nn8ui6qcwqBisqrndu-3EWMbY0iHZYd-_51LvDu9O8i_2SPe- I'm wondering about taking the Armour nodes at the start of the Marauder tree + the ones near Unwavering Stance (Steel Skin) as it would nearly double my base Armour. I use Endurance charges often enough but I'm wondering if a bit more base Armour would help. Also, should I go for some of the Damage notes as per the Build guide or instead head straight for the Templar HP nodes? Some more damage would be nice, but I'm wondering if getting more HP and Regen would be more beneficial in the meantime. Here's my gear: I've had no luck at all finding Chaos resist gear, but it's not too bad atm in Cruel - so I'll keep trying for bonus HP/Regen and Elem-resist. Any tips or advice on gear progression would be good. Also, I should note I mostly use Leap Slam and sweep - I only use Ground Slam occasionally, I prefer jumping in the middle and sweeping :P but it can be dangerous. I generally use Heavy Strike for single target which works well. Anyways, thanks - any input welcome. Pelerin of Wraeclast

So after all of discussions, shall we go to EC with the build or is there a better solution?

" There is nothing that increases survivability by as much as EC for the same amount of points. When the build is finished, you can consider going iron reflexes and some armor nodes to augment EC, though. It would look something like this (remove resists as necessary). I do not personally think that it adds as much to survivability as going for more regen and life nodes (like this), but it's really up to you. Last edited by Halinn#3257 on Feb 24, 2013, 10:24:10 AM

THAT BUILD IS FUCKING AWESOME!
a bit of difficoult at start of cruel act 2 but after you get a good weapon suddenly your survivability incrases of 300% . The good thing is that you need to watch out only on your resistences and just smash shit out of everyone . You will never die till you are able to hit something, more people you hit more tanky you are . Just awesome. |

Just hit 65. Great newb build. Just what I was looking for to get to end game without too much theory crafting on my first character.
Thanks, not too gear dependent either, much appreciated. Keep up the great work. Last edited by astronomicat#7713 on Feb 24, 2013, 10:42:20 PM

" ye idd iam lvl 65 and i tend to die more often when i use endurance charge cuz of all the runnig around and shouting and trying to get close so i can keep my charges makes me lose focus :P When iam doing my normal lazy gameplay i almost never die. But what do you advice? Did you respend all those EC points? |

I only have 1 EC skill node that near %0.2 hp regen per EC charges one..
so using 4EC if needed /mostly i dont even bother using ec im lazy/ im thinking to remove those 2 nodes to get something better. Squirrel is love, Squirrel is life.
