Hey
I'm actually lvl 63 and following ur build :) I'm in a2 merci and farming it a bit with some slowly progress. My actually gear is:
As long i wont do something stupid (like jumping into 20 lighting mages <ouch>) i dont die and gameplay is pretty easy, with warlord mark and endurance cry i can keep my endurance stacks pretty easly, or get them fast if i lose them.
I only have question, what items gives endurance charges, since i got only 6 now, and soon gonna have 7th from bandits, but still miss 2 :)
i asked the same question 2 pages back.

this guide looks really good! however ive read in endgame maps the bosses cant be touch toe-toe, so what there? is there some ranged attack you can use?

Sorry if this has already been answered, but is there any reason why Molten Shield is not mentioned as a viable Skill Gem? It adds Armor and explodes for fire damage. I don't see a drawback or am I missing something?

As far as I know armor is inefficient because bigger the hit is armor provides less and less reduction while endurance charges always provides 5% dmg reduction per charge. I think that with iron reflexes evasion rate conversion to armor is 1 evasion - 2 armor, so its better to take armor with evasion.
Bold is bullshit.
We need defense aganist high-physical damage critters. Armor does not work against them, because of it's damage relation.
And what is bullshit about it? I did not say that armor or iron reflexes works against big physical crits I just mentioned conversion rate of Iron reflexes to previous post, who asked if its better to take evasion armor, which obviosly is with this conversion rate.
What I meant was:

There is no such conversion. It's insanelly wrong. If you want to know how Iron reflexes convert evasion into armor check wiki page.

I am level 77, after i got some gear in all the maps i have done 66-68, i have not encoutered a single boss i cannot facetank.
Even Brutus that was a bitch at first now that i got more gear he is not that dangerous any more.
At higher level maps i don't know and cant guarantee anything.

And you still complain you can't face-tank critters?
Where did I mention anything like this?

All things you complain about - they concern ALL builds. What is more! They are bigger concern in other builds, because of low survivality.
Really? "ALL" builds are based around a defensive buff that has to be recast every 14 seconds with an enemy in range or you lose all your charges? All builds require you to rush as fast as you can from one mob to the next to retain survivability?
"
NinjaArabStrategist wrote:
Well, did you run in cruel for gear? All builds has to, to make Merciless doable. Merciless isn't forgiving. You have to have AT LAST decent gear on your shoulders. Having problems? Gear up!
I don't see how you (and a bunch of other people) could have so thoroughly misunderstood my post. Where did I ever complain about needing better gear? Or that Merciless was too hard? Or even that I was having problems?
Nowhere.
I haven't had any problems so far and I'm currently at the end of Act 2 merciless. The only thing that ever gave me trouble was Merci Brutus and even that wasn't too bad. The build is fine, it's effective. I don't understand why other people are complaining. Geofri's Baptism can get you through normal and cruel and even act 1 of merci -- and anyone can afford it. Armor with life and resists is plentiful. The gear you need for this build is cheap as dirt.
My single, solitary complaint is with the game mechanic of endurance charges. I hate them. Having to recast it every 14 seconds and always having to rush, rush, rush, to the next mob to stay buffed...sucks. It's not fun. At least for me. So yes, I DO think newbies considering this build should take this frenetic style of play into account before deciding on what path to go with. I wish I had. Being a slave to a fourteen second buff timer is not my idea of a good time. As always, your mileage may very.
