You can do this with a 5L, but it has to be a 5L Voll's Protector(remove PCoC gem).

80-85% is really good enough. 95% is the max you can go for your info.

Hello, want to try out this build and since I was bored, made a 6s5l volls.

Never done a CI build before, so how would I go about leveling your build? This is my plan right now:

1) Start as fireball witch, use your tree but pick up about 15 life nodes instead of some of the CI stuff.
2) get to 35 and then equip voll's and switch to using cyclone/discharge?
3) Wait until about 70ish to switch to CI, right before heading to do maps?

Yup, I think you pretty much planned it well. Do note that Cyclone is quite a mana-intensive skill, so at lower levels it would be preferrable if you did Fireball-LMP-Life Leech-Concentrated Effect-Fire Penetration, or any other 5L you deem fit. Of course, if you can sustain the Cyclone with enough mana regen, then by all means start using Cyclone. At my current stats, Cyclone is 60 mana per spin.

Well, you switch to CI once you get sufficient ES items. So yes, around level 70 when you are able to meet the level/stats requirement of your ES gears.

My Crit Chance is around 84ish without Power Charges. One thing to note is that because I usually have around 1-3 Charges throughout the entire mapping/gameplay, 85% Crit Chance is the highest I want to be hitting. Any extra will not increase my DPS since 95% is cap. Each Power Charge gives me about 5% Crit Chance, so I'm usually Crit-capped duing gameplay.

I cannot recall my attack speed off hand(pun intended), will check and get back to you as soon as possible. One thing to note again is that because Cyclone is such a mana intensive skill, you would rather have a slower dagger with no increased attack speed, but instead other DPS mods like Spell Damage, Accuracy Rating etc. Of course as stated in OP, IAS will still be a better mod than Increased Critical Chance for Spells on your dagger.

Welcome, it is my pleasure to share with you one of the highest DPS builds in this game that will not die to either reflect due to its hybrid DPS nature(both Physical and Elemental), and yet manage to stay tanky with over 7-8K ES easily with decent gear.

Yes this build is nuts for endgame. Its got vaal pact, resistant to reflect, high es pool. Its very tanky. Good stuff

His attack speed is 2.4 aps ... 1.2 aps from dagger and cyclone hits twice, he has no increases from gear, passive tree or cyclone itself (level 1 = no ias boost ). Doesnt have FA either.

Sorry I missed your question. You can level up the Witch in whatever fashion you want, really. But if this is your first character, it doesn't hurt to build a MF Witch to get your resource pool going, so you can afford some of the items later on.

Hello, this build looks super fun and i want to give it a decent try as iam sooo bored right now :)

From lookin at your Passiv tree i think this could work well as a Scion. What do you think about that?


I also leveld a dual totem witch to 62 and gave this build a try but it was horrible in terms of survivability and Mana without the right gear.

At what level Range should i have picked Vaal pact and IronReflexes ?

Got to 35 and equipped Vol protector with the gems. Managed to be able to perm-cyclone with 4% mana leech and other stuff. However, my crit rate is shit and so discharge/EK do not go off nearly enough. Still, I see the potential and its pretty amusing when I get lucky!

Am grabbing every crit node I can atm. Also need a kris.

Gimme a day or two and I'll see if I can do up a relevant Scion tree.

You should pick up Vaal Pact as soon as dying to Elemental Reflect mobs starts to become a pain in the ass :) Usually that's around level 80+, as least based on my personal experience.

You don't really need IR for this build unless you want to fight bosses.

Ye, at level 35 you barely have enough Crit Chance nodes. At level 70-80, you will start seeing the true colors of this build's DPS. For now you'll get to see beautiful glimpses of it here and there :P

Yes, do not invest in any other dagger other than a Kris. As I mentioned in OP, do not get other fast IAS daggers like Ambushers, since the mana cost of Cyclone will bite you in the ass. Get a slow 1.2APS Kris with core mods like Spell DMG, Accuracy. Any other mods are bonus really.
