If you have the currency to get Auxium, get a non-legacy one and swap the Dream Fragments for a yellow Diamond Ring.

If you're not going the Auxium route, you can continue using Dream Fragments but try to find a decent Chain belt instead of your current for more ES.

Swap the Void Battery for a dagger that has at least 9% Innate Crit and mods like Increased Spell Damage, Increased Critical Chance for Spells, Attack Speed, Accuracy Rating.

You could, but a dagger with Spell Damage/Increased Critical Chance for Spells will outdps it.

I feel that CI gives this build more survivability than the low-life version, since you get way more ES and Immunity to Chaos Damage. Also, this build only needs the Frenzy Charges from Blood Rage, so there is no reason to go low-life.

If you wanted to increase the DPS of my current build by two-folds(yes it is possible ^^), go for a 6L Voll's Protector. This frees up the PCoC gem slot and you can put in Increased Critical Damage gem. Your DPS will skyrocket. Of course, you will probably drop to ~7K ES buffed, but I choose to go for survivability, hence a hybrid EV/ES chest.

Im planning to use a similar build with a scion. The build im using wastes 1 node at the beginning but I feel like the extra resist are useful when finding really good es equips without resists. It also goes through a lot less str nodes so that they dont get wasted because ci doesnt use health or meleee physical. The build also picks up some extra atk speed.

If I can get hold of a 6L Voll's Protector and colour it GGG-BB-R, would this help with mana pool problems:

that makes no sense. If you want to use volls u have to use another spell like fireball. Otherwise you've gained nothing.

If you are playing in standard and have the currency you can get endu charges from this

The Enduring Charges are for Immortal Call, not for DPS :D
