Also, why not use torrent for client data distribution? Seems like a non disputable logical choice to me

Well, prepare to hear some people complaining should you have some server stability issues at launch, but... don't worry about it. I won't be playing in the next few days though, because I have some real life problems to deal with, so I'll be fine.

Anyway, I really, really appreciate that you're incredibly open and honest about the situation. You're not the big, corporate, PR-driven studio, but you're handling community menagement like champs, congrats. I understand that the popularity of your game may be a suprise even to you and thus there can be some problems, but hey - it's ok. After all, the game still stays in beta and we can simply treat server stability as part of the testing, right:)?

I know you're trying your best to make the open beta launch as smooth as it can be and even if the servers are overwhelmed with the amount of people trying to test out your game, it's ok. There's a really huge amount of people who really love or are really interested in your game and I'm sure that most of us will patiently wait a bit more if need be.

I'm certain that once the dust blows over, most of us will end up simply enjoying the game you put so much heart and time in to create. And this is really all that matters.

* reminds me of the D3 launch where all these 'clever' people on the US east coast were complaining that they had to wait 3 hours or so longer for the launch than the people on the west coast.
