[0.11.0] Eldritch Battery/Armour Crit Dagger Shadow (Based off the CI Crit Dagger Shadow concept)

can someone please answer me this?
With this build whats the deal with taking a shield over going dual daggers? since you dont really spec into block at all?
also is there much difference in taking claws over daggers? was thinking of going dual claws for the extra life leech. thanks
edit: daggers for crit i guess

Hello, Im new playing this game. But i cant stop thinking about a dagger shadow concept.. should be Dex the Main stat of a shadow?

The final build has more str and the same int as dex.. So finally the shadow becomes a 1 handed+shield soldier..

I guess all this is looking for the survival of a shadow, but should be more.. "normal" a dual dagger/claw/sword shadow? Mid life, high avoid/evasion, and with fast attacks? mid power, high critical?

I repeat, im new at this. Im not being critic, only putting some doubts.

(EDIT: Ok i just read shadow is an hybrid..)

The difference between daggers and claws and why the former is taken over the latter is being explained in the guide itself.

The use of a shield provides much needed stats:

- Life
- Resists (+all/+chaos)
- Armor
- ES ==> mana you need to run auras.

The added benefits of a shield far surpass the benefits of a second dagger. Also take into account the use of Double Strike vs Dual Strike which has also been explained throughout this guide.

Please read the guide or at least use the search function to find your answers before asking what already has been answered :)

So with the new power charge on crit support gem coming out, might that be worth linking on any of the skills used with this build since this build is based off of crit?

Probably)

As for Cyclone - not a good idea.
With Cyclone you will be facetanking enemis, and with only 150-160% increased hp that this build has, it will be suicidal later on, compared to just lightningstriking everything from a safe distance.
Also, Cyclone takes away control of your character while its active, so if you suddenly start taking huge amounts of damage, you are pretty much done for, since you can't WW/Flicker away.

Out of pure curiosity, has anyone tried this spec vs. invalesco's similar HP/Armor spec for PvP? Trying to decide which one will be stronger, if anyone has any input fire away.

Would this build be good for a completly broke player that has some experience with the game? also what mods do you want on gear? ele damage or phys damage? the guide dosn't specify this very good
Selling what's left of my Shadow's gear. PM me if you are interested in any of it.

It will be tough as the build is very gear reliant. Not impossible, you just won't see have a strong character for quite some time.
