[0.11.0] Eldritch Battery/Armour Crit Dagger Shadow (Based off the CI Crit Dagger Shadow concept)
" Chromatic Orbs, you don't have to "find" anything.
do you understand how many Chromatic Orbs it would take to get 3 green links on strength/mana gear?
I don't think this build is viable due to that
It's not like chromatic orbs are hard to get.

Invalesco,
As so many have said, thank you for doing such a great guide, and for also being so active still in answering people's questions, etc. So, here are a couple of my own :P My big one: Dual wielding - is it viable? I really want it to be. It would be pretty easy to just tweak this build, but is the drop in survivability too large if losing the shield and also going for some more DW dps nodes rather than deeper into Mar/Temp tree? New to this game (but not AARPGS) so I went softcore, and I'm only lvl 39, but been having no problems yet with DW. Any particular suggestions? Maybe any other guides you could point me too? Secondly: I like lightning damage, so just wondering if the Shock skill (+8% lightning damage) applies to weapon damage, wrath, etc, and if it stacks with Arcing Blows. Is it worth taking even so? Thanks again, keep up the awesome work!

Not difficult to get at least 2 green links on Armour gear. You do realise that the ES component is just for mana and you don't need to deck yourself out in complete Ar/ES gear don't you? I understand the colours may be a concern but I made sure to take into account those when I created this guide. This section below is taken from the OP. Links you will need on your gear:

thanks for the post Invalesco
I figured you would need a lot more ES gear to have all your auras active
" yw :) it's actually quite a fine balance. You need to have enough ES to have a decent amount of mana but you don't want to end up with too much mana and neglect the other components of defense. usually, 1 piece of gear with high ES and 1 piece of gear with average ES tends to do the job as long as you've got enough int points as well as some %incr. ES nodes Build of the Week 14

Also I just wanna say im Lvl 33 and I have Raped every monster I have come across.
I made sure that I Didn't rush the Shield and Dagger Combo straight up, im also trying to keep lighting strike up as well while not using it. So I'm currently going 2 Aura's which I find a massive mana disadvantage. But, given the ammount of damage you deal is insane. So at the Moment Im running 2 Claw's in my experience (4 Shadows later) Claws are the best early game items and good for a range of things.
Spoiler
Now for potions is a hard one for me cause I alternate.
Spoiler
I tried 3 Mana potions but I felt it wasnt good enough and decided that I should use it for a resistance and get a Hybrid get recharged fairly good I don't have troubles with it. Now I do however find myself in a situation with no health :P, retreat. Shield recharges. jump back in for life steal and pot regen. Here is the rest of the stuff.
Spoiler
Some things ill need to replace and currently doing so but that there is doing me fine. PS: Didnt think to check the later points. no CI. :) -The Abdominal Build Master. Last edited by MasterKrakenz on Jan 29, 2013, 8:04:40 PM

Hello guys, and TS! Asking for your help!!! Uh...actually wrong. Praying for ur help! I'm currently lvl 52. Leveled up last 3 lvls just in docks at act 3. Can't realize how to survive solo, trying to every mobs train about all of flask charges and sometimes I'm dying (
Pls give me suggestion what I should change in my items (what is HEAVY important to change, items will be under spoiler). I'm currently have all the gems that linked in first post for end-game gear. Tryed to leveled up most/all of uras I need, but now it's totally lack of gem spots in my gear now, so about 1/3 of them are waiting in stash now. I have 450 dps (in "C" character panel), about 800-1500 on double strike (depends on melee phys.dmg, added fire dmg, faster attacks, changing gear many times in day so sometimes double strike is using w/o one or two gems), about ~1k-1.2k dps on Flicker strike, and only ~500dps in lightning strike (+pierce + LMP) Adding WEP gives me about ~600 dps on lightning strike. And if I change pierce to faster attacks, I've got about 850. But this 850 is hardly hitting enemies even with lightning vulnerability :( dunno what I'm doing wrong). So I switched back to pierce+lmp, for 650 damage, and trying play like few amount of levels ago, when all was perfectly. My way of playing now: Using aura - lightning damage, sometimes swithing to frost damage if there are lightning resistance mobs. (Hatred, Wrath, but not both cause of lack of mana). I'm running to collect few mobs, about 1 pack or maybe 2 if there no blue/yellow/orange mobs. Make them to stand "closer" to each other, by running around in a circle for a bit, then casting Warlords mark to them, using mana pot, casting Totem+Summon skeletons+ minion damage+added fire damage, then trying to make a good position and starting to spam lightning strike, stoping casting to evade enemy projectiles, and trying to refresh totem if was killed, debuff of warlords mark every ~10 seconds, and using mana potions.) This is going totally slow because my damage low at act3 cruel, but possible. Impossible starting if there a few packs with yellow/orange/ 2x yellow in 2 packs, or yellow+blue. They hits so hardly, that skeletons dying very fast, totem usually get killed very very fastly 2, and need tons of mana to refresh it such fast again, and I'm realizing that I'm used out all my 2xHP/2xMP/1xGranite potions in this fight, yellow mob has 90% hp, blue mobs are likely 70-80% hp, and normal mobs are about 40-50% hp. And I need to run. very-very long kite with a death in a result usually. Got picked talents same as in link at 1 post.

I hope u could help me, because I'm starting to give up, but trying to fight and tell myself that all will be all right after I reach merciless and find better gear. Stats now are Life : 1722 ES: 54 Armour: 881 (22%) Evasion: 831 (19%) Fire resistance: 75% Cold resistance: 75% Lightning resistance: 57% Chaos resistance: -20% Life regen per second: 3.9 Mana: 350. p.s My apologies for that badly english, grammar is terribly bad. I haven't any eng lessons at school, so, don't be angry, I hope u will understand me! p.s.s And sorry for that "Wall of text" too! Last edited by Barkie on Jan 29, 2013, 6:52:22 PM
