[1.0.6] Goddess of Thunder - CI Storm Call tank [discontinued]

Level 71 now, very nice build.
DPS is a bit low but i dont have quality storm call.

Yeah, dps will really start to kick off around lv80, when you're able to pick up all the crit and damage nodes and gems reach the higher levels.

A few other things : 2 nice uniques to level up : Ambu's Carge and Moonsorrow (witch I still use.

At what level do you set reduced mana and blood magic to reserve exactly 65% of your life with dicipline (I think wiki is outdated on this point) ?

Cast on damage can be swapped with cast on stun as we will be stun as soon as damged : full strench molten shell ! (i'll try it)

Currently got Reduced Mana Lv19 and Blood Magic Lv18, still leveling them. It's at 73% right now, so i guess you can safely go for Lv20 on both.

Edit: Yeah, Moonsorrow is actually pretty decent if you got a good roll.
I personally prefer CwDT because of the 100% chance, the cooldown is kind of a bummer though. Feel free to experiment and let me know what's working better for you.

Also ran Residence map for the first time, survived for some time against map dominus but then died, not by him but by the suicide mark.

Simply to be able to cast three Storm Calls + Curse, before it sets off.

With all reduced reservation nodes, lvl20 reduced mana and putting Clarity+Determination into Geofri's Crest (+1 level), you will be left with 55% and 271 flat mana reserved, that can be (depending how much mana you get from nodes and gear) a good 75% of your total mana.
But since one of those auras is flat reservation based, getting more mana can reduce that total percentage greatly.

However, if you get enough mana from gear, you could also choose life or the skill point.

Just discovered that Storm Call + Dominus constantly lets my laptop overheat. Anyone else experiencing this?

I have heard that the game is balanced around 0 Chaos resist. If that is true, how much chaos damage do you take at 75 res? Is it pretty small?

Yeah, can easily tank smallers critters and poison arrow, if you have enough enemies around you to get the life on block from anvil, you will barely even notice you get damaged.
I was even able to easily facetank that unique chaos dmg rhoa on the 75 plateau map.
For viper strike, just wait 'til your life is low and use your life flask.

But there are some serious dangers: Undying Alchemists.
I seriously hate these guys, if you are unlucky and desync into them, or just tired, they can kill you pretty fast. Gonna upload a video showing the danger those guys can be.
