why don't you use grace no more??
also should i use Maligaro's Virtuosity or slitherpinch for more dps? i already maxed out all the resist and having 30k dps and what do you think about haste aura King of Scrubcore Hah

I have been following this build and I must say I am having loads of fun :)
I have a question though: At the moment I am leveling with a 2h weapon and I find it is easier to flicker with that instead of 2x 1h. I presume the transition will occur once I get more of the +dmg nodes as I have done the "skeleton" of the build by doing this so far. I have wondered why you chose dual wield however I suppose it is because it is so easy to get the increased block+dmg along the way to the important nodes instead for opting for something like a 2h build? Thanks for creating this guide and sharing your ideas with us, I really appreciate the work you put into it ^^
" IMO , Cuz you keep flicking around so Mobs wont be able to touch you so Grace ( ARM + EV ) is not a need. Wit this build, Try to get highest damage as possible otherwise instead of clean up the map, you will left a bunch of low health mobs . No death mobs = no frenzy = no FS.
Ok i am level 62 going through this guide... the hardest part for me was probably decideing where to go with the skill points... i went straight for acrobatics and then dorpped down for the double dodge from projetiles... then i started branching out slowly creeping my way outwards towards the end. i was kinda low life for a while and i mean long while but finally got it to where i am good. btw not all gems are under 1 chaos.... multistrike... expsinive as hell.... and my suggestion for weapons is the mighty flays or what ever they are called you can get at level 33 or some thing like that and once i got i was pretty much flickering around. each one costed me 1 alchmey off of poe.xyz.is and was pretty happy with them. they where even better than those swords because i was able to put blood magic in their once i got a 4 link. but to escape that i had to finally find a 5 link and put health on hit or what ever on it. this was my second character the first one i thoguht WAS SOO AWESOME but now that i play him for way points and what not i relize i was a dumbass when i made him and he is nothing compared to my flicker. i just did my first map tonight also it was tropical island or what ever and succesfully did it. i use both grace and hated with reduced mana leveld up to like 8 so that i only use 90% of my mana. also i had a few questions but its super late so i will ask later... but this is the gear i either found or traded for while leveling... its pretty decent and probably spent around 3 chaos for all of it while the other stuff i found... even found those boots while leveling i was like HELL YAA!!!!

zinsid: happy to hear those prismatics work well. I should definatly test them out myself. As for your question, as you can see, I always throw out a few spectral throws before I charge into a big group. That allows me to even farm piety with meh-ish gear. I just soften everything up with thsoe ST, while starting up some insane healing. I think throwing out two or thee of those waves should help you a lot :)
@Cheesepizza: just get the 5 starting points near the right side of the duelist, picking up attack speed and dual wield damage, instead of the evasion/life nodes from the scion. You would lose a bit of survivability, but gain some damage(useful for Standard/Dominion I spose) @twitchTVluxpower: Well, it's in a way what Naz said, it's not necessary. Plus, we only have space for one aura, and Wrath is just far more important then grace for this build to work. And try to get some attack speed gloves instead. We don't have a lot of crit to Maligaro's won't do too much for you, and slitherpinch is more of a leveling item to me, it loses it's usefulness late game. @Xi41: Why Dual wield? The number one reason would be block. Flicker strike might be fast and awesome late game, but getting hit it inevitable. And big hits can really wear you don't, since we don't have high armor(and getting IR is also no good, since it would leave us vulnerable to a lot of range/we won't be able to get acrobatics). So block can save our lives, even if it's 'only' a mere 50% block. And in terms of DPS, dual wield will still be able to take down groups quite fast. Since we aim for that, instead of trying to get a single target down to 0 asap, this works just fine :) @Zerodymebaldwin: Happy to hear this build is working out! I would recommend trying to get ST in a 4 link, and get LGOH in your spectral throw, it will really help you out in the toughest of spots then. Also, instead of LGOH, have you tried LifeLeech on your flicker strike. I feel that will heal you more around this level than LGOH, even though your attack speed *is* insane. I'd say give it a try! I am a nice guy.

Ok cool and all of the skill gems are ok to use with duelist as well? Or should I just use the ones on the other build?

You can use the ones I linked here. The core will stay the same, you will have the same playstyle, just a different char, and a slightly different tree due to the starting point :)

Awesome thanks
Was thinking that+ the convenience since everything is more or less right there without having to get to the various nodes. Also I've recently discovered that dual wielding can actually result in higher dps end game than 2h (always only played a summoner, so learning about weapons now :P) I've swapped to dual wield now and farming city of sarn like a boss :) Could you add a 20 point incremental talent point section to your guide as I am unsure whether I got the right nodes at the right time and it would really aid people starting this build :) I would appreciate your opinion on the following two subjects: Firstly I'm currently running a tabula rasa with life gain on hit and added phys damage in addition to the normal 4 link setup and aiming to get a bringer of rain since that would make flicker insane - especially since you cant really support high level red gems due to the str requirement for this build. Secondly, what is a compliment to the temporal chains+cast on damage taken? I'm testing decoy totem at the moment since enduring cry didn't work well and nothing else seemed viable. I'm thinking of trying devouring totem as well, but unsure. Last edited by Xi41#6493 on Dec 17, 2013, 1:30:45 PM
