GGG Should remove the Uniques Challenge

Do you know what a challenge is, by definition?

It doesn't mean you just play this game all day and automatically complete it. If that's how it worked they would have zero significance.

As someone who won't even come close to completing the unique challenge or even trying, I like it. I can't think of any other really, really tough challenge that isn't just handed to you if you play enough.

The unique challenge is beyond ridiculous this time around, and is actually encouraging RMT, if any.

Try to earn 200 exalts within 4 months. I managed to stack ~100ex worth last time with some intense farming, but man.

You actually prove my point. The mechanics that was implemented to motivate players to play the game is broken or even demotivates them. Even more, 8th humiliates players, forcing the achievers to RMT , which is bannable. And the only thing you do is to ignore what humiliates you, indeed.

I actually agree with OP. A challenge is about investing skill, playing the game, etc. The 8th challenge is like "GO RMT, THIS GAME IS ALL ABOUT RMT". Because amassing THAT kind of uniques that SIMPLY DONT FCKING DROP. I mean, man, only two !!!! Voltaxics are on sale, one of them chanced. Are GGG greedy on sending couple dozens of T-shirts? What the hell is going on...

But the MOST important point is: achieving 8-stars gives NOTHING.

If you buy supporter packs you get: a) badges, b) pets, c) portrait border d) unique weapon effects e)unique armor effects. These everyone sees and appreciates. All you need is to pay some bucks.

If you get 8-stars (which is a NOT easy thing by all means even in the past league) you get NOTHING! FCKING NOTHING! there are two former 8-stars here writing in the topic and I cant see that from the game, unless I go to their profile page. No game-cosmetic, no forum-cosmetic, no pets, just nothing. The t-shirt that no one will see except for their relatives who dont give fck about PoE. And even this requires a MASSIVE RMT.
