15.38 Attacks per Second

I'd imagine that you would be able to get higher attack speed by dual weilding due to the 15% attack speed multiplier. But, then you would have to get into melee range with Frenzy which is a big nono considering your survivability.

As for mana upkeep, I think you should not focus on Regen. Regen won't help you at all considering your fast rate of attack. Instead try to get mana cost reduction nodes and and as much mana leech as possible. Use mana leech and mana cost reduction gems if possible. Also invest in some Mana+% nodes and some +base mana on gear. The goal is to have a high mana pool so that you can get more leeched mana per second (consider getting Eldritch battery). Remember, the cap is 20% of your max mana can be regained per second through leech. If you leech back more or equal to the mana cost of the skill itself that will end your mana problems. I'm not sure if it's even possible though.

as a general rule yeah id agree with that but not with Quill rain it has 3.11 attacks per second base nothing in the game comes close to that iirc

The highest sword has 1.7 base attack speed. With the highest attack speed mod at 25% and the dual wield bonus of another 15%(pretty sure it's actually 10% speed bonus and 15% block bonus, i could be wrong though) the base attack speed is 2.44. Quill Rain, as Snuffey pointed out, is 3.11 aps. So no, dual wielding can't get higher attack speed.

Solid advice. Eldritch is quite far away from my build though. Right now I got a 20%Q Mana Leech gem that I'm working up to 4%, I think its still only at 2% currently. My Frenzy skill with Faster Attacks and Faster Projectiles, Mana Leech and RMC is at 16 mana. 16 Mana * 12 aps = 192 mana per second. I've got Clarity running, but my Int stat is holding me from leveling Clarity past 6. Also.. higher the level of clarity the more mana reserved. I can't use Blood Magic support on CLarity because the reservation jumps to over 400 life (2/5 of my total life). If I pop a mana flask, I can spam Frenzy for the duration but then I'm back square one in a few seconds. I really don't think it's practical to maintain 12 aps. 6-7 aps is more than enough and sustainable. Once I max out attack speed, I'll respec to get more mana sustainability and dps.

Oh, also because Quill Rain itself only does like 10 physical damage, it's pretty pointless to get any gear with mana leech. BlackGleam converts damn near half of all physical damage anyway. The only practical Mana Leech is the support gem.

20+ is not possible, at least not yet. I'm not even sure 15 is possible. 13-14 is possible, I think, but it's highly impractical.

Interesting. Really curious why you arent running more +flat elemental mods on your accessories. They would literally be 12x there listed value in DPS.

A double ( or god forbid ) Triple elemental Amulet would literally give you 1.3-2k DPS in basic attack. And given that attack speed is a suffix roll, you can literally have that and 3 element on rings.

You need a Meginolds Girdle for your belt. Gives you more life, and 10-20 physical per hit. You lose nothing.

Sundance really isn't best in slot. It is if your only goal is attack speed, which is cool, though wakes of destruction gives you a F-ton of DPS. Maybe grab a pair just for clearing merciless?

12.82 aps. Almost at 13! How high can I go? Despite the desync and obvious lack of DPS, it's still quite fun.

Yep, that is my goal. Best in slot it definitely is.

MSI Afterburner is good tool in gamevideo recording, no limitations and it's totally free. I'm not sure tho if it requires MSI graphicscard.
