as for total life u need, this is a tough question because as i have mentioned, my gear and currency haven't really reached the point of soloing those maps. I've soloed a 74 map easily enough, but i haven't been able to get my hands on anything higher.

I did join a 75 map with a party, and that was fun also. I would say that 4k would be good enough considering my current ability. I only ever die when i'm being a dumbass and playing for the hell of it (when i should be doing something else). Also yolo maps can get me sometimes (going man mode on an elemental reflect, elemental weakness and temp chains map among other fun combinations to test my grit).

A random thought: a fun thing to note is that when you run a temp chains map, it increases the length of your charges, as well as your immortal call ;).

It's at 178% right now. I've mostly got defensive nodes (pure life or life/evasion) left to get though, so it'll be at 220% or so around level 90. Missing life on both rings (resist+the taming), helm (rat's nest) and quiver (to be replaced) hurts me a bit I guess. Yeah pretty much my experience as well. Some of the exceptions that can be really scary are some leaping mobs, like those blue frogs from Sceptre of God, especially combined with +% damage as elemental map mod.

hmm, that may be regen and other factors, if u don't have health stacked then that also could be a problem.

Are you going to switch to pierce? just curious lol.

Quick question, why didn't you grab Pressure Points? Seems like it would be worth it.

Possibly. All my current healing comes from LGoH on LA and LL on Frenzy.

Really not sure if I'm going for pierce instead of chain. Tempted to try it, but have heard very mixed things about it.

It is definetely worth it seeing how its a 30 multiplier node that is directly on the build path. My build is something to go off of so that you can tailor it to ur own needs.

well it could also be that people have their own interpretations and they're own ways they want to do things. As i help more and more people, i have found that everyone wants to figure their own niche of pulling off the same thing, but then blame the negative result on something else and take credit for the good results (human condition eh). When making comparisons one of the things often seen overlooked is overall gem quality and its effect on everything.

Additionally, there are different ways to do things tbh. What i have also seen is the use of LMP instead of GMP for pierce because of how common the lmp+chain combo is for LA. Although LMP will concentrate ur damage output to the small cone in front of u, i find that GMP is much better for overall aoe, damage, and regen on pierce. Plus, u can use GMP with pierce much better than u can use gmp with other combos.

Its really up to u, but thats my 2 cents on the matter. everyone has they're own preferences, which is why i added a poebuilder guide so u can alter the build.

Additionally, this guide really needs a leveling guide (which is what i will provide). Alot of things will be cleared up on how to go about creating a character, and overcoming certain obstacles along the way. But i do know it works because i currently have a friend who used the build and is doing 23k with frenzy with a lioneyes as a major source of dps at level 70. Although he neglected health a bit to acheive this, he felt like he could handle it because of his experience with the game.

im using this as a base to the build of my first character, right now my biggest problem is probably damage, since i have not acquired lioneyes yet, cant afford it atm. is this viable with 2 auras? mana is also an issue somtimes, running 6L atm with LA+LMP+Fork+Faster Attacks+Mana leech+Point Blank and its not that bad manawise, but still gets to 0 sometimes. thats life i guess:) also survivability since my 6l atm is :p

my 4l with frenzy is frenzy+added cold+added fire+power on crit, that drags my mana to hell, yet to go to the mana nodes tho.

also using a 4l with split arrow+pierce+added lightning+something:p much cheaper (been thinking of going split arrow on 6l)

Couple of questions...
1. When did you move to blood magic?
2. When did you start running auras?

I'm level 44 with 1200 HP and 240 Mana. I'm actually using ice shot and frenzy because the dps is much higher than LA right now. Mana has been an issue since level 1. I can spec into mana nodes very easily and maybe that is what I should do.

Death's Harp is providing nice DPS and my resists are nearly maxed (not chaos, obv). The build is tanky as hell, and with LOH, I haven't had one near death experience yet.

I will say though, I am scared to death of reflect and how to treat it in the future. My crits are ridiculous and I'm sure I will 1 shot myself at some point.

I'm not completely experienced with split arrow. But if ur crit, i recommend increased critical damage and life leech. After that either take mana leech or bloodmagic.

Of course it is viable with 2 auras, the only problem is that you will probably have to sacrifice some links and skills so u can put everything on bloodmagic.

As for mana, speccing into mana nodes will definetely help you as well as taking hybrid flasks.
