Have you thought about using "The Blood Dance Sharkskin Boots" with the bloodrage skill? So you always have 6 frenzy charges, thats means that you negate the 4% debuff from bloodrage with your 6% lifereg from blood dance. You also gain 6 ll and can remove the lifeleech gem from your LS setup. Would nice to hear your thoughts about this idea.

I have tried fitting blood dance in builds before, but on the ranger/shadow side resistances are so hard to come by I always end up with boots that have tri res. plus using frenzy as single attack your charges are up 99% of the time anyways. I have a pair and about to hit the lvl to try them again though :)

hmm. The point with taking life on Hit is that its instant life regen. On an LA build, each time the initial hit hits the target, it strikes 3 other targets before proccing your impact gem and doing the same. As a result, Life on Hit has amazing synergy with LA. It can litterly make you go from 1 to full in an instant. Also with blood dance, the regen from life leech is from physical damage. Although this is great for SA; When using LA, the gem converts half your damage to elemental damage so the effects of the leech would be halved as well. It seems like using Blooddance would be more of a yolo setup, and would be risky. The life regen and life leech is great, but it also takes up space for resists and other gems that can be used.

life on hit is usually enough in terms of life regen.

Note: this was done quickly as a test. I recognize its a bit awkward so i will remake a video later and add in epic music to go along with it :D. (maybe two steps from hell for example)

more edits done, poebuilder was updated(finally) but its glitched. Deadly draw isn't being added up correctly to the total phys damage. I'm sure they will fix this eventually.

great post. I've been trying to look into ways I can improve my build/skill set up. will definitely try out la mp and Pierce (used split Pierce before and now using split chain)

Ty. I think split arrow builds should have an easier time changing into my build if they choose to do it, even if its just links instead of the skill tree. Alot of my build is based on node efficiency, every point is well spent and puts you close to big gains. I need to add a section on nodal efficiency as well as some of the things i have talked about with others in the thread so far because they offer great information. I will do this later because right now i do not have much time to do so.

This is a good question. Although peronally i have been doing maps since level 70ish (close to the middle of open beta). This was also my first character so i have gone through many changes to get to this final, awesome build that i have just absolutely loved. The game and my own build has changed so much that comparatively i cannot tell you when you should start mapping with this build. Also, everyone has points where a certain pieces of gear or skill combos push them way over the edge in terms of build potential.

As such i can tell you this: when you feel that your gear, damage, and ability are to the point That soloing docks/library/archives (archives leveling will be a blast ;D) is just way too easy. Or if you acquire a lioneyes with a 5L. Then that will be the go ahead to do maps.

We'll I got the 5l LG waiting in stash ;) I'm not following any guide for leveling just putting points wherever, mostly place holder points so I can branch out when I feel the need. But at lvl 50 and clearing lvl 50 docks is hilariously easy right now. Running clarity full time to keep up with mana, hatred isn't even missed while leveling
