Oro's Righteous Fire Marauder [1.2.0]

Hey guys,

First ofF, awesome build ORO, really in-depth and helpful. Is it better to have ice nova on a CwDT or as a manual cast? I like it on CwDT, but if mobs arent hitting me, it seems impossible to proc EE. Also, my flameblast is only lvl 11 or 12, but it seems to do shit for damage making it very inefficient for killing shrines (while using Auramvorax resist sword). Is there a better spell? or do I need to get a lvl 20 flameblast? When using the VAAL scepter I was using EK which was great.

Thanks

I use Ice Nova on CwDT only. If you want an active skill for EE proc, Freezing Pulse (I think that was the one I tried) + LMP works better since you can hit mobs before reaching them.

For totem killing I use Flameblast (currently lvl19) + Iron Will + Chance to Ignite...though I have a lot more str on my build...and nor do I use many charges. lvl11 or 12 isn't nearly as good as Flameblast gets. If you run with charges, you should consider using discharge instead.
Ok cool. Do you find it unnecessary to run a manual spell for EE to proc? Also I picked up some BloodDance boots, is the life regen (which I know is important for this build) better than the +50-70 hp I would be getting from another pair of boots? Im running a level 16 Grace, and with all my gear I am like at 13k Armor. What should be considered an "ideal amount"?
Hi,

I have been followed this guide on 1 of my marauder and respec again with the update 1.1 guide. With the introduction of the new vaal skill, yesterday I tried with vaal cyclone and its damn fun! I have 5l on my chest with

cyclone - vaal cyclone - LOGH - Blood Magic - Increased duration

I somehow "1 shot" solo piety with vaal cyclone at lunaris temple (not map). Just run from waypt all the way to piety I should have 1 vaal cyclone to cast.

I don't use any active skills for EE to proc...CwDT does the trick. Also, I don't use Blooddance, though I don't use Oro's build either. While they're nice, I opted for armor+HP+res boots instead, which gives RF a damage boost as well (more HP=more damage). I don't use frenzy charges, so if you do, you need to take that into consideration. Just use what works for you best.

13k armor isn't bad, and will get better as you lvl grace. I have 16k armor at lvl84 with the use of Determination (lvl19), which is about the equivalent of using Grace with Oro's build. Keep in mind I have a lot of armor nodes as well.

I really like the CoDT set ups, and maybe its inexperience with the Gem overall. But it seems like it doesn't always proc when I need it, Vulnerability included. Also, does molten shell proc EE? Because it it does, wouldn't that be counter acting ice nova? Thanks for the help by the way, this is very informative.

Molten does proc EE...don't use it. On my CwDT I use Nova+Enduring+Immortal. I use Flammability as manual cast. While Vulnerability gives you endurance charges when things die, I prefer just to kill em faster lol

AHHHH ok, I think molten shell has been messing me up then. So you're saying you do not use Vulnerability and replaced it with Flammability? Did you leave CwDT at level 1?

as far as the curse goes...that's up to you. I can only suggest testing to see which you like better.

Yes...I leave CwDT at lvl1. If I need Ice Nova to proc (like on a rare mob "immune to curses"), I just stand still. lol
Fire penetration doesn't work with RF??
