Gear was pretty bad, but the race was a ton of fun and I'd definitely do it again! I met a lot of people (including many top players I never imagined I'd get to play/compete with) and really thing Path of Exile has a great future ahead of it. The ladder/reset system is VERY enjoyable and needs to be in place in more games *cough* Diablo 3 *uncough*.

PS - Finished 40th at level 79 (just BARELY hit it with minutes to go)!

GG, report Frankyy. Real close at the end against presence and debrah for 10/11. Played EK EB based mostly off invalesco and had a ton of fun.

Finished 11th. Was only interested in 20th, but thankfully we finished with a full team of 6 in top 20.

Racing is significantly more enjoyable in a group, but I don't think I can ever run a race like this again. Its just too intense and random, and the way you have to push to get in the top ends up being largely boring as well. I fundamentally disagree with the way end game content is so reliant on randomness.

Top Marauder using a slightly modified version of nullsFaith's pure life/regen caster build.



My equipment. This build can get away with pretty crap gear other then a 5link, but it gets ridiculously powerful with decent-good gear.

Health - 6334. Health regen per sec - 565.5. Damage Reduction 36%. 80/62/51 resists without Purity. GMP FP listed DPS - 1011.1.

I didn't play the race cause I suck at HC. Not jelly, but you couldn't have done 136 of the last 144 hours.

However, I don't care if you account shared or not. I think it should be allowed for 1 week races and 1 month races. I just don't see the point in not admitting it.

Sick race, sad to see people still crying account sharing, for two reasons

1) its impossible to prove if someone is account sharing using the same physical computer
2) every fucking week race, someone gets accused of account sharing, and it always is inconclusive or ends up being flat out false (like Dominion)

I admit, at first I thought the race was being over hyped by a lot of people, but in the end, people did better then ever, and more importantly the whole top 50 was pretty competitive, and it looks like it will only get harder.
