I'm still iffy on this subject. He joined our group and seemed like a cool guy on mumble. But later on he just stopped talking on mumble without really saying why. When confronted about possible account sharing he didn't try to deny it or anything. Not undeniable truth but probably enough that I don't feel comfortable partying with him any more unless he talks to us about it.

Why would you do it without resists in the first place?

Also better to keep him on screen so you can see exactly where he is.

If I saw this right, he lasered your totems, so you knew where the next two was going to hit, and then ran right into the second one, and with seemingly no lightning resists?

Maybe not the best of moves in that fight. Hopefully you plan your strategy better next time :)

Yeah he said on reddit he had 3% lightning resist, so that's kinda expected to be honest. Underestimating Merci Vaal is one of the biggest mistake you can make past the early game(also underestimating unique fire dog, rare rhoas and the desync monster ^^). I'm glad there's at least one fight that dual totems or even summons can't cheese entirely, granted he only stays alive for a very short time against summons, but he can still smash your zombies while you're standing behind them and hit you for a one shot falcon punch, so yeah.

Flicker Spiders don't do lightning damage anyways, unless they had the Added Lightning Mod since they were blue, or the map gave them lightning.

Thought you guys might like this. It's me dying in the first day of the race at level 60 :0 I tried to reroll that day and made a templar, quit him at 55 though, the competition was just too fierce. See you in open beta!!

Alright, I'm done as well. Was obviously hoping for a top 20 finish, but several things prevented that. Didn't have a full party, had someone die on Ruthless, lack of higher map knowledge and overall not enough willingness to give up everything else to play longer hours. Overall mistakes on our part, but still gained plenty of valuable information and tons of fun so happy anyway.

Best of luck to those still going at it.

Why are everyone want to win this race and bitching in the forum about others?

There is a simple rule here. If you play more you probably win. If you cant play 18h+ in a day you should not expect to win. Just play for fun.
