Jan 14: One-week HC Race

Well after dying the first day at level 60, I've made it back to 55. Seeing however that the competition is this fierce I'm throwing in the towel.

Are you using devouring totem?


If yes stop using it on maps with Necromancers.

We had the same issue on the 1 week Turbo race on a strand map but the party was that small so we found out the issue the 2nd crash.
The necromancers were reviving the corpse while the totem ate it.

We also created a Bug/Report submission.

Pretty sure no one had devouring totem..

Glad they're nerfing totems. Kinda boring watching every big group in the lead lulzing through maps with at least two people running spork builds. It'd be interesting to see if any groups make it in the top 20 without using this cheesy build.

They really need to do something about this disconnecting and crashing. The last 24hours have been ridiculous, you lose at least one member in every map due to this. And it's extremely demoralizing after you put in so many hours a day farming the higher maps and mats to make them perfect.

I love the game, but this has to be prioritized because it's ruining the fun in all the race events.

Highly doubt it if you check the activity of other Top 20s they are all doing long time play.

Or make races more difficult by adding Turbo. The Turbo race had many spork attempts too, yet I remember only 3 Sporkbuilds in the Top 20 and even on maps there was a 40% rip Rate.
Also Zero Glasscannon builds with 2k HP and mass LA damage. KarlRavanor and Deest were the only Bow characters in Top20 and they certainly weren't glasscannons.

This would be far more interesting on Turbo because even normal cautionous players have a chance to win a demigod.(If it were a Turborace I would have died twice before maps and the third map I did)

I really hope for a Turbo League since it will have less price inflation, maps are actually hard so map grinding doesn't get frustrating.

good race so far but a little overhyped, looks like only one large group with a few smaller groups going at it hard
