Jan 14: One-week HC Race

-edit: I logged back on the char in default to test what happened, it seems although I facetank the explosive mobs in western with 70+ res taking 4 and 5 bombs at a time not even noticing my life move when I facetank just one with around -3 res, I lose half my hp (from 1500is to 800ish, almost half). Thats a extreme difference...
I went ahead and did the bandit as per normal without cares to the low armour or res and it was faceroll like normal, bleh, why try to play safe and change something, when normal is safe, live, die, learn. Lol. Last edited by Drystion#1108 on Jan 14, 2013, 8:50:21 AM

I was solo and i was 1-2 levels behind the first one btw the starting time of the event was terrible for me. And when i just said to kill those mobs and im done for today i died lool and i think i dont have chance now and i loose any hope i had

Died at level 26 in Cruel Mud Flats to Rhoas. Had 900 life and didn't care too much about dying, but forgot that the unique Rhoa (the huge one) has life leech. Wasted all of my health pots before I realized it, then ran away and got stomped by a frenzied rare Rhoa and its companions. Forgot to cheese out with a portal or ALT+F4.
GGG banning all political discussion shortly after getting acquired by China is a weird coincidence.

on a more serious note: I really hope a lot of people ahead of me die from microsleeps! The game does not adapt to you, you adapt to it.

Crazy race so far. Hovered just outside the top10 last night but couldn't crack it. Great to see more groups running together and really pushing it. Went to sleep and already almost down to 60th. Still another 8h to go at work so will likely drop to 100th or even lower. Very cool to see so many people participating in the last CB race. Hopefully GGG gets some good info from this one.
I think we may see some records fall in this one if people can keep the pace. GL to everyone participating! |
