The more that GGG nerfs the more people that will quit and go back to Diablo, because RoS is actually pretty awesome. PoE has a lot of potential......but GGG stiffles it with their stance on desync, and constant nerfs.

Their philosophy of "If you find a good build, it should feel like you're exploiting the game" is gone.......and so with what made this game special.

People quitting over nerfs are better off quitting right away.

With that attitude you'll find yourself logging onto a server that has been shut down do to lack of funds

This is a F2P game, and as such needs the support of a large population.......guess what PoE doesn't have atm.

If they want to keep alienating new players that's is their choice, but better games have met their own ends in a similar fashion......PoE will be no different.

REAPER OF WALLETS YO I need to try this Grim dawn game I heard this shit is Pay2win though lol

Haven't played Grim Dawn yet, but I've heard good things..........and it's from the makers of Titan Quest so I can only imagine I'll be in for a very nice treat when it releases, but that's like over a year from now.

It's on steam right now for early release I may look into it if well PoE fucking kicks me in the balls which I hope it doesn't.

Well you need to pay for it obviously to get the early version lol

I remember a post by Chris saying "When you make a good build it should feel like you are exploiting the game. That is what is special about PoE, being able to make such builds"

New motto is: "When you make a good build make sure to post it in BotW, so we can nerf it next week"

PoE game engine is not friendly with playing with high manual control:
You can not cancel previous actions to cast a utility skill when needed
you can not avoid enemies by running around the attacks, it will desynch you
you can not use mobility skills as utility, it will desynch you
you can not separate mobs and pick on singled out ones. You will find yourself 2 rooms away

Game is right now down to automated defenses and shift-click attacks or totems/summons.
Take away theory crafting: boom! nothing left

It's just a shame, seeing what PoE once was and what could have been makes it all the much harder to swallow. The simple truth is that RoS will destroy whatever sliver of hope this game ever had if GGG doesn't get their shit together.........
