you're too far away from MI with your build though, so group up to kill Vaal

Not really required. Here is my heavy life build (just a copy of OP up to my level)

Also here is a video on youtube. I have Raise Zombie linked with ML and MD and Raise Skeleton linked with a crap gem (Either added fire dmg or added lightning damage I can't remember).

Seems very simple for anyone (you periodically spam 2 buttons while dodging everything) so who knows. To each their own I suppose.

Phics
Ok no one has really been actually posting many builds here since the nerf to CI. Can someone post a non-ci build for summoners? Preerably someone who has made it to lvl 50-60+. I would really appreciate it. I cant seem to stick with a build there are so many. I know I want a pure summon build with life/es instead of CI obviously now. The health build the author posted is only partial and doesn't have any tips on where to go after
Hi everyone i'm using an Ice Summoner level 49

Inspired by another Shock Summoner build posted on the forum days ago, i've decided to change the elemental damage

I want to share the build, it's not perfect, but with other brains, we can create a solid build, i guess..

For my experience the Summoner plays the role of the "Untouchable" and with Ice's Skills as :

Frost Wall,Artic Breath,Cold Snap, ColdAura you gain a lot of stuns and slows against the enemies, meanwhile your personal undead army finish them, instead high damage with Shock

The core passive skills :

Cold Damage %

+ Life %

Minions passives (Obvious)

1) Int 2) Str 3) Dex nodes (Useful for gear stats)

Some Mana points and Regen

Summons :

- Zombies + Minions Vitality + Minions Damage + Magic Find

- Spectre + Minion Life

- Skeletons + Critical Damage (Wanna switch critical chance) + Added Lighting (Wanna switch with Ice Damage)

Core Skills :

Frost Wall, Clarity, (Artic Breath or Ice Spear)

Which Skills i dropped and i use :

Ice Spear, Cold Snap, Artic breath, Freeze Pulse, Frost Wall, Hatred, Enfeeble, Clarity, Wrath, Temporal Chains

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

My problem is at Act 3 Cruel in Sarns Slums- Crematorium, Vipers kill me with 2 shots, my Zombies or Spectre aren't so Tanky i go really slow through the areas.. What passives we could add to my skill tree ? I was going to gain more :

energy shield,
resistances,
life

(Passives Near Templar nodes) to be more tough. I don't like the Chaos Inoculation how works.

I was thinking to take the curses passives :

- Hex Master

- Whispers of doom

I tried Necromantic Aegis, but i don't like it, i feel too weak, and i've refunded the passive.

I refunded the Necro Shield also because i got the Queen's Decree, this :

Any tips ?

My items :

EDIT :

They're only images ROTFLMAO, how can i link ?

I'm looking at ways to adapt my Summoner/Arc build by going down into the Templar tree, as there's so many useful things down there - lots of health, resists, ES%, and ele damage.

Which of these two entry points into that area is best?

Former gets an extra health/str cluster, body & soul earlier, and is closer to a minion cluster (if I choose to go there). But the latter gets more mana management and resists, and the 40% mana regen right next to the Templar start is very temping too.

I know I'm missing out on a few summoning clusters like this, but got most of the minion health ones. Unsure if I'll suffer without the +1 minions though.

Hi,

Sometimes I have some problems with mana. Mby dual totem will be better?

You can go for double arc totems and use skelettons as your primary spam spell instead of arc - should be much cheaper mana wise. Only problem is that arc requires chain as support for maximum potential and chain costs A LOT.

Didn't even read it all.. I'll probably try my witch like this.
Thinking about using one spell totem support, tho i just can't decide which spell to put on, using a totem to summon the skeletons seems to make ones life a little easier but i dont wanna lose out on any damage done by them - and i really like using them specifically to block enemies paths and stuff, using it on my main damage spell would also cost me alot of damage potential due to the damage reduction...

How does the damage reduction on a totem support work with curses? If i use it let's say with lvl 1 enfeeble (25% dmg reduction)would the totemic curse only reduce the enemy damage by 15% because of the 40% malus oder do curses just apply normally?

How viable is a minion build later into the game such as 55+? Also how important is CI later into the game?
what should i get from the bandits from all of the 3 levels?
