[1.1.3/HC] Qhorrin's Blinding Dual-Totem, Dual-Curse CI EE Summoning Sporker

Are there any videos of this build by chance? Love to see it in action.
Just read about the snapshotting changes, which will be beneficial for me. I haven't used snapshotting with this build to buff the minions, but I do switch between an MF support gem configuration (e.g. Item Rarity on Zombies and Spectres) and a non-MF configuration depending on the content.

The snapshotting changes will allow this to be done on-the-fly, instead of having to resummon all the minions. This is fantastic news!

My zombies can be updated from

Minion Damage + Melee Physical Damage + Item Rarity

while farming standard mobs, to

Minion Damage + Melee Physical Damage + Minion Life

for the boss. Similarly, the Spectres (I like Flame Sentinels) can be updated from

Fire Penetration + Item Rarity + Faster Projectiles

to

Life Leech + Minion Life + Blind

for tough bosses, etc.

I really should check this thread more often...

No, I haven't made any videos. Previously this was due to lack of disk space, but I've got another external drive now.

Any recommendations for software to capture videos? I've not done that before.

Also, the build I'm currently running in Ambush is slightly different from the original - I'm only using a single permanent curse. After the introduction of Summon Raging Spirit, Bone/Flesh Offering, Convocation and Vaal Summon Skeletons I no longer have a spare socket for the second curse!

Had a go at recording with ShadowPlay - which works beautifully. The only problem is that the file was too large for me to upload, so I'll have another go with reduced resolution/quality and see if I can come up with something reasonable.

Also attempted to stream to Twitch, but it eats up too much bandwidth and raises my latency from 65ms to over 800ms, making the game unplayable.
After playing an Arc witch recently I've been experimenting with Arc totems instead of Spork totems for this build. I think they're better:

  • Arc auto-targets and always hits; Spark is unreliable. Many Sparks expire without hitting anything.
  • With Chain, Arc hits more monsters, and the reduced damage reduces the likelihood of killing them (I don't want the totems to get the kills, that's for my minions with Item Rarity).
  • The range of Arc + Chain, especially when chaining off barrels etc, is fantastic. It can also get around corners and other obstacles.

The only downside is that I was quite fond of the Spark Spiders effect.
