[1.2.x] Oos' Crit Dagger Capped Block Ranger (Reave / Flicker / Double Strike) Acrobatics or IR

I bought this dagger. The Ambusher is higher dps, and especially good for Reave, but it will give me mana issues and I mostly only play PvP now anyway, so the Kris is better for my Flicker.

I'll add my dps stats to the main topic, but wont replace the old stats with my old dagger, those are much more realistic to reach, so it wouldn't be fair to advertise the mirror dagger dps stats.

Flicker PvP 326,215 dps
Double Strike PvP 270,896 dps
Reave PvE 192,626 dps

hey guys how much mana do you have unreserved? and do you often hear not enought mana?

im lvl 61, with 120 mana unreserved (350 maximum mana)
and i often can't use whilingblade or hear not enought mana....any solution?

As you level up your mana pool will grow. You could use just Hatred for a while to increase your mana pool (no Tempest). But at higher levels you shouldn't have a problem.

borrowed a bino's to test how it feels and i loved it so much that i ended up buying one

i've swapped out added fire for quality inc crit dmg gem and took all the possible crit nodes on the tree

with crit weakness i'm at almost 80% chance to crit and it's feeling awesome, freezing everything and instakilling packs

the regen Bino's gives is so huge that i don't even need life leech when fighting mobs so i don't have to worry about getting a lot on gear

i'm in the process of chancing Amethyst rings because i'm a cheap skate and don't want to buy Mings, to see how it would go with Ming's + Blood rage, if i'd be able to run Blood rage i wouldn't need the leech from crest and ammy at all so i could get a high evasion shield and it would make my amulet upgrade cheaper, not to mention 20% extra dps is op

my dps is currently at 35k and i'm quite happy,dodge + evasion and the fact that reave is a lot of small hits instead one big makes it easy to deal with reflect even with crazy tooltip numbers

@Justi - wanna post your gear/tree? I see you're a Shadow? :D

Also using a Bino's. Need to upgrade some of my gear (rings/belt/gloves) to cap my resists, but that shouldn't be too hard. Also need to get a Rathpith still.

Went with Frenzy + Blood Magic as main skill. DPS is 16K without PCoC, about 20K with if I use Flicker or Whirling Blades to get them. If I'm next to an ally with Anger/Wrath, DPS goes to almost double.

Will be running Hatred + Grace + Tempest Shield, eventually.

I'm getting the distinct feeling that I should have done this as a Ranger or Shadow, after all, even if I use Frenzy. Well, we shall see once I level some more :)

Is it only me, or is Reave bloody hard to aim, misses a lot via desync, and has a delay in applying damage?

This build looks quite interesting! I play Invasion, so I am curious how well it would do there.

Does anyone have some Invasion experience with this character they would like to share? How is your squishiness on a new/expensive league? Any types of mobs that are extra difficult for you?

I saw one guy in this topic reached 72, but when I checked his profile I saw a level 73 Standard League character :(. And it being just one guy made it sound like this build is quite squishy for Invasion and he just got lucky or was good at dodging stuff with skill, but not really a result representative of how the build would do for most other Invasion players?

Not at all, I notice this a hell of a lot, even playing on local servers. When grouping with Americans it gets a lot worse.
