" Wus!:) At some point DPS becomes a great defence - I mean take an extreme example - when you wander around Normal killing stuff with 80k dual strikes, its not like you need the ES! I kind of feel sorry for the mobs in the maps you run. P. |

" You NEED increased duration on BR and running it like with crit weakness in it would only raise the mana cost and we're back to the same problem we were having before. It would just be best to run a separate two link with Enduring Cry + Crit Weak linked together all alone with no one to buff the mana cost up in this sad world :). always got my nike socks on just incase any of you fucks needa get DUNKED on.

I know u do not want to run multistrike(i couldnt post results with faster attacks,cause i do not have the right colours) and u have good reasons for it(however it allows me to straight face tank reflect mobs,something i cant really do without multistrike).Also u have 5 frenzy charges,which would make the difference between frenzy and double strike insignificant(around 5K).With frenzy though u won't ever run out of charges,even if there is nothing to kill around u,or if they have expired,granting u also 20+% increased armour :D.Also with an extra frenzy u can have a 20-25% stronger single target attack. Now on increased critical damage vs melee physical.I know that the difference seems insignificant between them,however it is not.Thats because how evasion and accuracy works in this game.From Wiki: If an incoming critical strike succeeds its hit roll, a second independent hit roll is performed to determine if the critical is evaded or not. If this roll succeeds, a critical strike is scored. If it fails, the attack still hits, but only for regular damage. This part is not calculated on the tooltip DPS,meaning that eventualy our hit chance becomes a more important factor than crit chance end game,and that our actual critical chance is indeed lower than 85%.Melee physical,will give more consistency,hitting harder even the times we wont crit.My 2 cents :D edit:when wiki says "a second independent hit roll" it refers to your hit chance,not crit chance.So u hit,rolls hit chance to see if u actually hit,then rolls crit chance to see if u crit.If u do,it rolls your hit chance again to determine if the crit stays crit,or it is downgraded to a normal attack.Thats why IMO the holy grail of a crit build,is capped crit and capped hit chance for the max possible consistency.Also why my 6th gem,will be additional accuracy on my flicker,instead of say,melee physical which will increased the DPS tooltip rediculously! https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/417287 - Poutsos Flicker Nuke Shadow Last edited by Poutsos#0458 on Nov 22, 2013, 9:40:02 AM
