[1.0.1] Dagger Spell Mage 380k pack DPS, 42k solo DPS. (Cast on Crit fun)

Created a new shadow to use this build. Currently level 63. Very fun, huge damage but have to get those res caped asap. I have bereks grip, its not bad.

Im struggling with the aura's, i cant continuously ST without using clarity, which means i cant use grace. My mana pool is so low and bereks isnt reliable in constantly providing that mana. Still playing around with it, but with my current gear (not that great) i still have to run a mid level clarity.

How do you sustain mana with this build?

Try using 2 surgeons mana flasks. I stopped needing Clarity 1 in the 50s. +Mana really does help on gear. Also, try to get +Lightning Damage on gear, it will get you more mana leech with Berek's Grip.

I Run a ST/CoC/dual wield dagger shadow. Tree build is extremely different. But end result is the same. I invested way less into flat defense and a lot more into getting the 3 aura clusters. I run level 6 clarity on my hp for ~240 reserve. While using Voll's I get over 50 mana per second. Combine that with Mind Drinker and I don't even carry a mana flask in my belt.

And I must say the bolded comment above is MASSIVELY important.

I have a lot of work still to do on the main post. It's a work in progress. Also, I would like to add that I didn't copy/paste your thread for myself. Though, it looks suspiciously similar, I didn't even see yours till last night ;)

Your build looks fun, I will have to try it--I have both needed uniques and my tree is already pretty close. BTW, the build in this thread was posted by EternalLight, not me. I'm just answering questions here because EternalLight hasn't been around for a while.

I could keep playing EternalLight's "Dagger Spell Mage" build with a few tweaks based on yours - LMP for GMP; Ice Spear for Freezing Pulse; and your single target seems better (though 3 sparks in the face does crazy damage too.)

Apparently the thread owner has been MIA for a bit. You can look at the videos in my build, posted a couple of replies up from here. He uses GMP while I use LMP and he uses Freeze Pulse while I use Ice Spear and Cold Snap. But the result looks similar.
