On his gear section he has the Berek's Grip ring. That gives 5% mana leech against frozen enemies, and a lot of mobs will freeze when you crit.

If that is the case, then he shouldn't pick up those extra frenzy charges until he is ready to use them.

5% life leech against frozen enemies, 5% mana leech against shocked. Please read more carefully.

Oh right, I really should have read it more carefully.

So far I have been mostly fine running one mana potion and a level 1 clarity gem. Currently level 44.

Awesome build, would I be able to copy this tree and gear set up closely and replace freezing pulse with storm call??

i actually try kind of that with 8.7 crit% dagger with 1.79 speed. always have a rebus on spells in setup. if i try that with spear+fp+power on crit=massive freeze and devastation. if i go arc+fp-i proc better to both kinds of leech. also tried that with 10.72 crit wand and power siphon. result is good but that wand has 1.1 base speed but there is gem slot economy. that way crit chance is 86% under 5 charges. with a dagger it is about 78%. i wonder how do u control your freeze/shock?

and also wonder how to freeze/shock good bosses. i think i'll go additional 5% to shock in shadow's zone

the other moment is that ci version will be better cuz u can use free blood rage and gain frenzy charges.
